  1. they change these all the time, just the other day on sc buster picked milwaukee...
  2. thanks, i admire your admiration of my said dedication...
  3. You seem crabby -- you may want to sleep in. indeed... People still get there before 9 though, i will probably just park on bluemound.
  4. Go to an Admirals game and the crowds are small, but very few things get the crowd going and amped up like a fight does. oh i don't know, there are normally a couple times a night when the goal horn blares, the fans jump up start ringing their cowbells, the music starts playing, and high fives start going, then the sieve cheer, but that is nothing like the excitement of a fight... in all seriousness, that is the same at any sport, don't try to tell me that if Prince charged the mound Miller Park wouldn't go crazy...
  5. well you will get them both together if you get them, but honestly i would get there earlier if i were you, i wouldn't want to cut it close, but that is just me...
  6. it is bush league imo, the basically used the guy, made as much money off of him as possible without spending any money on the team, and then brush him aside, and pretend they were never associated with him, it is pathetic, and ridiculous.
  7. cooprules- jeffs sports, or waukesha sportscards bc2004 - utility was right, the stages are stages set on the loge level and field level concourses, so they can fit more people in there, the fields, are just like lines for autograph fridays. and i am very pleased that kendall and prince are together, i can get my kendall game used bat signed, and a choice of a million things for fielder. FTJ -- sorry, but doing it the last two years, it has helped me to get there at 6, I know it is only for two autographs, but I could really care less how long I wait, I do the same thing for bobbles in Beloit, I could get there at 10, but I like being first. And when you are towards the front, you get the first sprint out of the gates, and i will need it to get prince. so just because you are jealous that you aren't waking up at 4:30 after getting home late at night from friday's game and taking the hour drive to milwaukee, doesn't mean that you have say that me getting there at 6 won't pay, if i want to be an idiot, i can...
  8. i'll be at the ads game on sunday, for a good cause too, couldn't agree more trwi... does anyone know how much the first level of the BC holds?
  9. that is cool, i had no idea you worked for the blues, you probably don't like Nashville then either... anyway, speaking of players, not thinking they are larger than life, look at how nice Sidney was, Evgeni Malkin had to do the same thing, and they both were extremely freindly and they are two of the most popular players in the game.
  10. typically you can get bobbles for less during the off-season, but that is not always the case. They are probably going to give away 1,000 right? So you shouldn't have to spend that much for it, maybe $30-$40?
  11. if i recall correctly, we don't have a board connection down there.
  12. jason, if i see one, i'll buy one, then i'll just give it to you sometime later in the year when you come down, so we don't have to ship. But I am going for autographs first, and then the sales second.
  13. stat man, as I was watching the Sox on Wednesday morning, Thorpe said that Ellsbury will be the starting center fielder, and Steve Phillips, take it for what it's worth, says that they are probably trying to flash Crisp for trades. But Francona has also said that Ellsbury will start, and that his back was fine after that catch he made and slammed into the wall on tuesday. So, no I wouldn't drop him yet.
  14. what time you getting there bc? I was there at 6 last year and was first, I'll probably get there the same time this year. Don't know who I want yet, probably Gagne too, but I have a million things that I need Fielder to sign, and Gagne would probably be a shorter line on a Friday, so I might go to Fielder, I just hope that Prince isn't paired with Weeks again, because I can't think of something other than cards that I need for Weeks.
  15. i just thought of something, since it is spring break, and i don't have school, i was planning to go to the royals hotel to get some autographs, but i bet the bucks' opponent (???) will be there too, and then there will be a bigger crowd? oh well, we'll see, I'm just so excited to see baseball in person again.
  16. Because On Deck is tied to an actual game, I wonder if there'll be a problem if people want bats or balls signed. That is a great point, I don't think they allow that stuff normally. maybe i just don't understand what you two are saying, but i bring in bats all the time, others do too?
  17. rick s. said that all of the concourse tv's will have the badger game on, and there will be updates...
  18. this baseball preview is possibly one of the worst I have ever read. And it has nothing to do with the Cubs winning the division, it has to do with the Reds ahead of them, and there is nothing written to back that up, plus all of the articles are almost worthless...
  19. I'm sorry, but I hate the idea of batting Fielder 2nd, honestly, I don't understand why there needs to be a change at all, last year when Braun and Fielder were 3 & 4, they raked. Then Ned decided to switch them, and they stopped hitting, he switched them back, and all of a sudden they went on a little run. I m just in the camp that believes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." There is enough talent on this team to win a lot of games, and the players are talented enough to just go out an do it. I wish our manager would just keep a lineup, throw it out there, and let them play. We don't need to worry about speed, it is stupid, in my opinion, to keep trying to play small ball, when offense isn't the reason why the club is losing.
  20. I'll be at Miller Park, and even though it is only an exhibition, I've got to believe that with as bad as the Bucks have been, there will be a bigger crowd to cheer on a game that doesn't count, but I guess in reality neither one does. The Bucks do have a bobblehead that night, but I still think more people will show up to Miller Park...
  21. tons of people go to the games, but no one thinks to look on versus for their tv games, plus they are on NBC sometimes too, but the outdoor classic was awesome, I think buffallo sold out the stadium, but it was on new years during bowl games, so not as many people watched it like they would another day...
  22. i just wish that hockey could make the news for something other than the bad stuff. Good Morning America covered this, and they covered the Pronger stomp, but they haven't even mentioned Ovechkin's amazing run, we really should be posting youtube videos like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QLBp3q51y0
  23. brewcrew, thank you. not only the hand eye cordination, but there are only a few people in the world that have the balance, acceleration, and just pure athleticism to twist and change direction on ice while not looking at the puck and skate really really fast and stop on a dime. I heard that Alexander Ovechkin once skated so fast that when he stopped on a dime, his blade broke off his skate. They call it the fastest game on two feet for a reason, if the NHL had a real tv contract, they would be doing a whole lot better.
  24. joehova, i remember a couple months ago, i commented in a bucks thread saying how much the nba sucked, and it was stupid. I of course got yelled at for it, and there is no reason for you to come in here and say that hockey isn't a sport, when it takes the most athletic skill out of any of them to play. Now I don't want to get into that fight, but because guys are sticking up for their team, that makes it not a sport, that is the most ignorant comment I've ever seen. There are some cheap shotters like pronger, simon, and tootoo, but there is no reason to say that it isn't a sport because of that. For the record, attendance is up this year, perhaps you should do some research before you say such "stupid" things. A lot of us on here like hockey, and you have no right to say it isn't a sport. i'm done...
  25. Bankjob, it wasn't allowed, that is why there were suspensions and penalties. If I go rob a bank, but get stripped of my money and go to jail, does that mean that it was allowed, heck no, they face consequences.
