You can't dictate people views, feelings, or reactions. If you don't like the atmosphere here, no one is making you show up. I enjoy the ups and downs in the IGT thread. It's a great place to vent, and celebrate with like minded people. If it gets too much, I check out for a while... I always have the option of being here, and if it brought me down, I certainly wouldn't spend any time here. If you don't like it, leave. Wow. I've been a poster here almost as long as the site has existed. Been on many of the other fan sites, and have always considered this one to be more intelligent, measured and rational. Way fewer knee-jerk uninformed fans, and I absolutely get to comment as I choose, just as you do. Yes, I don't get to dictate people's views, but I sure as shinola get to comment on it and the almost RELENTLESS negativity certain posters have. Even when we win, something went wrong to them - we won IN SPITE of CC, we should have won by more, etc. It's freakin' tiresome.

Some of us, who were among the eight or so thousand showing up for midweek games 15 years ago, absolutely DO remember the swoons. We maybe just want to enjoy where we are actually AT, not where we would be but for CC's decisions, Braun's injuries, Eric Sogard, etc. It's hard enough to watch the games we do lose without the IGT's coming across like Eeyore's Emo Gloom Club every time.
