  1. Impressive picture, I would be all over this deal if they didn't have those stupid blackout restrictions for the Crew. Sound Quality is great as well.
  2. I was half expecting to hear fractured thumb out 4-6 weeks. Another bullet dodged with #8.
  3. Someone remind me again what tgj actually does well. There is no reason he should make this club.
  4. I would think we will get an update before the end of the night. Xrays are pretty quick. Let's keep our fingers (and thumbs) crossed.
  5. Lineup per JSOnline: 2B Rickie Weeks RF Corey Hart LF Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder SS JJ Hardy CF Mike Cameron 3B Craig Counsell C Jason Kendall RHP Braden Looper Interesting to see Hart 2nd and JJ 5th. Seems kind of like Fielder and Braun last year. Don't mess with something that isn't broke.
  6. So I played RTTS a ton this weekend and got through a whole AA season with my CF. I ended up hitting .290 and had a nice ending to the season. We missed the playoffs by one game as we lost the last game. I didn't even get an invite to camp but I started the second season at Nashville. Through the first 5 series I am hitting .416 with a slugging percentage of .660. I accomplished all my advancement goals but they still told me I need more time because I am new to AAA. I finally have my guy's stats up far enough so hitting isn't frustrating and now I'm just having a blast. Couple of interesting things: 1. Bill Hall and Jason Kendall are both in AAA. 2. Attanasio went on a spending spree and the Brewers now have Pedro Martinez, Rafael Soriano, Eric Hinske, and Gary Sheffield (BOOOOOO!) 3. Brewers made the wild card and won the first series and lost the NLCS to the DBacks in 5. The Cubs of course won the division and then proceeded to win one game in the playoffs. Evil Empire won the WS. 4. Cameron and Gwynn are both gone and some guys named JA Casillas is starting in the majors. I'm thinking that must be Cain. Salome is the only one of the big three in the majors.
  7. Good news, Braun did have the MRI done and no structural damage was found. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/41939947.html
  8. So I started my CF campaign last night. Very impressed with the customization. Got a guy that looks fairly close to myself with about a half hour of tweaking. Took me a while to get the hang of hitting but I'm hitting about .300 now. My first homer was a grand slam, so that was pretty awesome. I thought playing CF would be difficult on D but aside from my guy being a tad slow it's pretty fun to play in the outfield. All in all I think I'm going to enjoy play RTTS.
  9. Anyone think of Back to the Future Part 2 with there now being an actual Miami team?
  10. Of course after I say that he walks back to back guys.
  11. I'm in for the weeks bobble, thanks again for the great showing of generosity by this board.
  12. Got home and they were sitting on the table. Pocket schedule looks pretty sweet with Braun fist pump over the wild card celebration.
  13. Has anyone received their single game tickets yet that they ordered on the 28th of February? They said they would start to mail on the 2nd of March. I haven't received mine yet and was just wondering if anyone else has.
  14. Braun goes yard, espn has "technical difficulties", east coast bias, 15-5 USA
  15. No midnight showing for me, have to work at 8 in the morning. I did pick up a copy of the "motion comic" on blu-ray though and I'm about half way through and enjoying every minute of it. It also came with a free ticket so that's a benefit as well.
  16. Nick Green just continues to throw up zeros. Could he be playing his way on to the roster? EDIT - BA just said they have to keep him in the majors, so I'm guessing he'll be making the roster.
  17. So a couple of quick reactions from a couple of games I played last night. Visually the game is awesome. Game play is a blast. This is the first game in the "Show" franchise that I have owned, so it is a little difficult for me to pitch especially. Took me a little while to figure out I actually have to go above the first mark in the pitch meter. I seemed to have it working though with Gallardo in my second game as I had a shut out going into the ninth before I gave up a two run shot. Hitting is difficult but realistic. If you try to pull an outside pitch, like Bill Hall, you are going to miss or hit a slow roller, it is a great felling though when you guess the right pitch, time it right and drop one into the left field bleachers. What the "Show" really excels at is the presentation of the game. From Matt V. giving me a Get Up, Get Up, Get Outta Here, Gone when I hit one out with Braun to Prince Fielder hold his glove on a guy for a couple extra seconds after I threw over to keep the runner close, the game really excels in giving me the feeling I'm actually watching and participating in a game of baseball. I haven't tried out the custom chants yet but that seems like a feature that I could really enjoy. The only thing I don't understand is how messed up the minor league rosters are. They have Vinny Rottino and Casey McGahee in AA for instance and Chris Capuano is the ace for the Sounds. There is some guy named Jose Lima starting in front of Salome at AAA. Any idea who this guy is? All in all the game is great, I'm just hoping for a nice roster update and maybe I'll spend some time moving guys around once spring training is over and they are at their proper affiliates.
  18. Braun is featured in one of the intros, got a little giddy when I saw that.
  19. Only took about 15 minutes to get in to get tickets for the first Sunday Game against the Cubs. $80 later I'm the proud owner of 2 bleacher tickets and a parking pass.
  20. Anyone know, besides the opening day game, is anything else sold out?
  21. There's an omen for the season, first game ends in a tie. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  22. As others have mentioned I think Provus is a solid change up to Bob as he is more detailed oriented and actually will give you the score more than once in an inning. I always takes a while if you turn on a game late to get a score out of Bob.
  23. WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREEN BAY HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE THURSDAY NIGHT. HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON... AND CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY NIGHT BEFORE DIMINISHING.
