  1. Just to cancel my other post out, here is a little more positive one. [blue]This guy must be 100% correct.[/blue] https://twitter.com/#!/JoeSchmudlach/status/172797131013369856 Edit - Claims he is johnny narron's nephew
  2. Not sure how reliable but just saw this on twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/BeastModeBelt/status/172783597902774273
  3. 8-12 weeks for Bogut, with the shortened schedule that should just about put him out for the year.
  4. Skiles, to me, seems like the type of coach that would do much better as an assistant. His game/player management just does not seem to work at the pro level. I don't really have the time to go through all the box scores to see how bad the Bucks are being outscored in the 3rd quarter this year, but I venture to guess that it is substantial. Seems to me that was an issue last year as well. Doesn't seem like Skiles is making the proper adjustments at the half that the rest of the league is.
  5. You probably thought that Marlin was alive, and that Seagull was alive, and that Flamingo was alive...NOPE, they're not, they're DEAD
  6. My guess with the 100% thing is that our playoff percentage is actually something like 99.95% or better, so the system they are using rounds off to a tenth of a percentage point, hence it saying 100%.
  7. Tremendous article, great to learn the actual origins of Tony Plush. Favorite line: "His families either loved him, because he livened up the dinner table, or hated him, because he tried to squire their daughters."
  8. 2 out of 3 if we win tonight 1 out of 3 if we lose tonight Crew has the better pitcher in each match-up
  9. McGehee is hitting worse this season than Jason Kendall did as a Brewer, would you ever suggest a lineup in 2008 with Jason Kendall hitting #6? No. McGehee is not a major league baseball player, he is just being tolerated because he is cheap for years to come and was good last year at the dish. I would go Morgan 8, Lucroy 2, Braun 7, Fielder 3, Hart 9, Lopez 4, Hairston 5/6, Wilson 6/5 (not sure on Wilson vs Hairy at SS) Lucroy can't hit that high, he's a catcher, every good MLB manager knows that. McGehee and Betancourt are hot, they should be playing everyday and hitting 5 and 6 to protect Prince. We also need Corey leading off to hit those solo HR's.
  10. Crucial to not only get the win but for Hawkins to look good, so RRR won't use Loe as his "8th inning guy".
  11. Good thing we brought in Kotsay for that big pop.
  12. I'm probably just going to try to get some General Admission tickets at the gate. I'm planning on just going to the one game on Saturday, and they aren't selling singles until day of game, so I'm going to go a couple hours before the game.
  13. Recently relocated to Lincoln this past winter for work and being only 45 minutes away, I will be going Saturday to catch Jungmann pitching for Texas, really looking forward to it. Makes up for not being able to catch as many Brewers game live as in the past.
  14. Here we go, nice quick inning from Mitre to get them back up to the plate. Lets put up another crooked number here.
  15. "Here's Shawn Green, listed at 230...with a piano on his back."
  16. I'll be in Omaha tomorrow for the game, so I'll try to provide some updates on Parra and others, should be a good time with it being the first game in Werner Park. Got some pretty nice seats right behind Sounds dugout, so I'll try to provide pictures as well.
  17. Looking great tonight on PS3. Just about flawless, only thing I notice is audio quality once in a while, but after last night I'll take it. Hopefully the issues have been worked out. Shouldn't this be what spring training is for, oh that's right, they didn't have spring training games for the PS3. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  18. Anyone know why I would be having continual stuttering when playing through the MLB.tv PS3 app, but not when I play on my PC? I can't even watch on the PS3 right now because it is stuttering so bad. I just checked on speedtest.net and got 17.5 MBPS, so no problems there. PS3 is connected via LAN to same router as PC. Just frustrating to pay all the money for internet and MLB.tv and not be able to watch it on my 42 in.
  19. Same boat here, I have a 1G iTouch and I went to download the app and it tells me it requires iOS4, not cool.
  20. I have recently relocated to Lincoln, NE for work and was wondering what everyone's opinion on MLB.tv is. The research that I did seems to point to it being a great deal for me. I have both a PS3 and iPod Touch, and both these work with MLB.tv. So, I can stream games through my PS3 to my HDTV and also watch games wherever I can get wifi after purchasing the additional app for iPhone/iPod Touch. My first question is, does anyone currently use MLB.tv through these two systems and if you do is it reliable? Secondly, is it worth it to purchase premium for the extra $20, so you can get both teams feeds?
  21. Even with Odorizzi included in this trade, this is a trade you make and don't look back. With the two first rounders in this summers draft and the likely picks for Prince next year the cupboard will not be bare for long. We really gave up no proven commodities for a bona fide ace. The reward, in this case, greatly outweighs the risk.
