    Besides the fact that the only player out of that list the Red Sox would even consider trading is Turnbow they would also be not getting much salary relief (as if they need it) for about every below average over priced player we have. So, yes if any team in the league would take that trade for a big bat then yes I am all about dumping our dead weight. p.s. once Drew's shoulder blows out next season I wouldnt think it to far fetched that the Red Sox might show interest in a power hitting OF like Jenkins. I think if we dump Jenkins it will be before the trading deadline to some team who believes that they are still in it with an injury to a corner OF.

    Yea, the dream of getting Suppan for 4yrs/14mil was amazing, but then I woke up to reality realizing that most likely the 1 would be replaced by another 4.

    What I havent seen mentioned in this thread though is his age. This was his first year of baseball outside of high school. I wouldnt worry about that 5+ ERA too much this year. I am just looking for his numbers to improve in the next few years. Or at least I hope. p.s. I am right about him being drafted out of high school right? I am doubting my memory now.

    I wouldned worry about the language barrier. Tomo Ohka didnt speak english all that well and NO ONE on the Brewers I guaranteed knew Japanesse. I think he had a translator.

    I just got back from the game, my friends had free tickets so I didnt really want to complain that we were leaving early. Did they make any mention on air about the guy in the right field bleachers? I thought at first it was a case of overdrinking, I think otherwise now maybe, there was CPR, Oxygen mask, they ripped his shirt off. People got arrested around the scene scary stuff.

    I think we might of just saw the last of Tomo Ohka pitching for the Brewers, but I think I would honestly prefer a rotation with Ohka and Villenueva and Davis traded.

    Alright I officially dont understand Yost, he opts to play the regular old vet lineup against the Pirates when we are down so far and then decides to pinch hit with the youngsters in the 9th? Shouldn't it be the opposite? Shouldnt we play the young guys for the game and when it comes down to it pinch hit the vets. Lets see what they can do, not overload Drew Anderson in the 9th with his first big league AB. Argh.
