    Yet, he seems like the likely candidate to be sent down tomorrow with the activation of Riske. I would have to agree with TH in hoping that Tavarez is DFA'd instead. DiFelice seems to be the better option.

    I was at the game directly across from the Dew Deck. It looked as if it landed in the first row, maybe the second, but not any further than that. Very impressive. I was there for his shot in 2005 on Opening Day too and I never thought that I would see a homer that would rival that live ever again. I was wrong.

    I love how the article on the Brewers site today is talking about how great Kendall has been in the 9th spot and how he will most likely start there today.

    Might as trade away one of the two since it appears that there would be no place to play the two at the same time. I think LaPorta fits better being an corner OF.

    Is anyone else listening on the radio (specifically 620)? I don't know if its my radio, but it sounds like someone is slowly turning the volume down and then slowly turning it back up. Anyone else having that problem?

    why? i havent been following inman's stats since we traded him, has he tanked? if yost is going to entertain trade offers for gwynn he should at least inquire about some of their best prospect whether or not they were once in our organization or not.

    that is the same as having Posada behind the plate with strict instructions not to attempt to throw any runners out.

I would guess he starts tonight at least so that if they have to put Jose Molina on the DL they can at least make it retroactive.

    About the Gross thing, didn't Trent Durrington get an AB in the same inning that he entered as pinch runner?

    I watched that game. Wise looked great for the first two batters (striking them both out) and then had Andino behind in the count. Both pens were lights out in that game.

    I've always just used Yahoo, and I have no reason not to suggest it. I prefer head-to-head so that I can change my lineup to best suit my opponent, and hot and cold streaks have some meaning. Rotisserie is the way to go if you don't have the time to change lineups daily, and a lot of people swear by it. I have a question of my own given the BOS/OAK series when does scoring start? My leagues start scoring with week 1, but are those games considered week 1 because otherwise the 31st is a Monday which in my book could be considered week 2. Which would give anyone with BOS/OAK players in head-to-head versus someone without an unfair advantage and could potentially win just about every category. Anyone know? One my leagues is just started with week 2 just in case.

    I came here to post the two things discussed in the thread. 90 is Lorenzo Cain, though I am not surprised, but I think Bill should of been able to at least give "maybe its Lorenzo Cain" comment. Especially since Cain wasn't just a pinch hitter, and he was playing right field for an inning or so. I thought the whole Rockies crew was annoying not just the color guy (though he did take the cake). The play-by-play guy referred to Prince as Cecil at one point, and Ozzie Chavez as Rickie Weeks. Both were clearly wrong, and he did not correct himself. I never thought I would say this but we should consider ourselves lucky with Bill compared to the Rockies color man.

    Even if it is a mistake why is that article still posted? Why hasn't at the very least have they issued an apology or edited the article?

    Man, MLB's live box score is a joke. As team it says the Brewers has 5 hits, but it also says Silva has given up 7 hits. Hmmm, I don't understand what is so hard about offering Gameday during ST.

    He has started 140+ games a year since 2000 except for last year when he started 137 (I imagine that a game or two was lost with the trade). I don't really think that he is necessary being over-zealous saying that he could start 140+ considering he has done it the last 6 out of 7 years. I think offensive shouldnt really be that much of a factor for the backup spot since an improve defense seems to be the goal of the Brewers this year, and we certainly don't need anymore power. It would be nice to see a catcher that can throw out a runner in Milwaukee though.

    I don't know about Graffanino. The only reason that he isn't employed in my opinion is because of his knee. I bet that he catches on with a team midseason when he is ready to resume baseball. I would not be surprised to see Lofton sign on with a team before the end of spring training. The Rays are already interested, and someone is going to lose an OF due to injuries.
