It’s a bit easier to punch back when it’s not zero and snowing And when the opposing team makes a very questionable blitz call when the only thing preventing overtime is not giving up a deep ball. Still have to make a play, and Stafford deserves credit for that. Agree completely. I’m actually happy for Stafford

    Rodgers was under pressure all night. I wouldn’t doubt if Rodgers saw the blitz and figured he wouldn’t have much time so throwing too Adams, even doubled, would be the best option. FWIW my buddy was at the game and said all game the WRs couldn’t get open.

    The blocked punt came under 5 minutes left in the game. You basically just needed to get the damn thing off and they probably win.

    not only was he wide open but he probably would have run all the way to field goal range Except he wasn't wide open when Rodgers threw the ball - he was wide open after the throw was made. Look at the :04 mark of that video - Lazard has one defender behind him and one in front of him and Rodgers was already in his throwing motion when Lazard made his break. Now, Rodgers had another second to let the play develop and Lazard would have been open. But when he looked over at Lazard early in the play he wasn't open. The throw was pre determined but Lazard broke free right as Rodgers was throwing the ball.

    Not much room to roll out. 49ers have contained the pocket really well tonight. That left side looked wide open. Could be wrong though.
