I graduated from NL....that's where the NL came from in my screen name. If this vote came up back when I was in HS I wouldn't be voting. However a lot of of time has gone by and they deserve it.

exactly why its so frustrating. He has emptied the bench to try to scratch out a run but wouldn't do it in this situation with guys left on the bench.

If anyone plays in tournaments and is interested here is a list of tournaments being held in Appleton this year. We already have teams from Madison and other parts of the state coming up. Very good times!

Typically I agree, but being so late in the game I think you either walk the guy or draw in the infield and do what you can to cut down that run. I walk the guy and try to get a ground ball or a K. If it was earlier in the game, I concede the run and play normal depth and pitch to the batter.

If you're OK with him not walking the guy, then you should be OK with the infield in because they have to cut down the runner at the plate. Walking the guy and setting up the double play is the correct move IMO. Managers need to be able to adjust to game situations. If a IBB is called for, then our manager needs to do it.

This isn't bar league softball where the throw beats the runner so he should be out. If the runner is safe, regardless of when the ball got there the runner should be called safe. Of course this rarely happens. Just like when the SS is in the vicinity of second base on the double play they still call the runner out

At the beginning of the year I gave the Bucks a chance to win me back as a fan. They lost me tonight and I might not ever give them another chance again. What a bunch of garbage.

I'm trying to give the Bucks a chance this year, but they are already making me change my mind. Right now, Leuer has me tuning in. Once that wears off, I might never come back.
