  1. I was all excited to watch the game and then I too remembered that the Bucks game will be on instead. Not at all happy. I hate the NBA and I hate the Bucks.
  2. I didn't read it so please forgive me if it is mentioned in there but does the study take in account all the batters in a line up? Because some on deck hitters are a little more scary than others in a line up. For example, Weeks followed by Braun is more scary than Weeks followed by Gomez and when you get lower in the line up, Betancourt followed by Nieves or whoever isn't scary at all. I'm trying to pay attention to the crappy basketball game so I don't know what I'm trying to say is coming through very clear.
  3. Hours and hours invested into watching college basketball this year and the end result is a crappy National Championship game. Hopefully there is a good ending at least.
  4. It might be just my perception but it sure does seem like Casey gets a bad rap on the site. Especially considering he is the best 3rd baseman we have had in quite some time.
  5. There is no doubt in my mind that pitchers pitch differently based on the batter behind them. If they didn't there would never be intentional walks-but its about game situation. Early in the game Weeks probably wouldn't see much difference in pitches but late in a tight game he more than likely would see better pitches with Braun behind him rather than Gomez.
  6. This has a lot to do with the weak ground ball to Casey today where he went home and just missed making the out. That was a play where most players won't make let alone just Casey and he made the correct play by going home. He isn't the best 3rdbase in the league but he is just fine over there.
  7. hey! any way on Gomez! Even by swinging at an absolute terrible pitch
  8. What Gomez just did there shows how good of a defensive CFer he is. Cutting the ball off and throwing a dart to 2nd holding the guy at first. I think that is a double on most CFers and that play shows how bad a 1st baseman is. You have to throw the ball to 2nd and get the out there. These little things that they can't do are so frustrating to watch.
  9. these guys have no idea how to take a pitch unless its for strike 3
  10. Casey got out so that pretty much means the inning is over
  11. I guess we'll just disagree. It's just not a play a 3rd baseman looks for. It was a close play at home and he made the correct decision.
  12. I guess he should have anticipated a slowly hit ball. He might be slow but this isn't softball where you play even with the bag. and there is no damn way a 3rd baseman looks for the runner that is in between bases.
  13. I really can't believe some of you guys that are harping on Casey for that play. There is nothing that anyone could have done there.
  14. Casey wold have no idea that the guy is standing in between the bases.
  15. and it became that much more frustrating....this is what crappy defense will do. Braun catches that ball and the whole inning is different.
  16. I wish I could at least see a crappy feed. I just have regular cable and boys basketball is on
  17. So the Brewers game probably won't be on TV in Appleton on TWC since the Bucks are still in season huh?
