I now wish I was going to ST more than ever -
I don't like them, but I don't hate them, they are just another band on the radio to me. I'll listen to their songs when they are on, but I'm not going to buy their CD. What I'm also not going to do, is rip on them for making money. Just like I wouldn't hate on a group for "selling out". If I made music, and sold a lot of records, but now my stuff just isn't selling anymore, damn straight I would change the way I did things.
-
I guess I should have quoted what I was referring to. If someone thinks they are good, and is their favorite band, how can someone have a problem with that?
-
i'm not really sure how someones opinion can be wrong. If someone says Nickelback is their favorite group how can someone have a problem with that? How can someone have a problem with someone making tons of money with what you would call no talent? Old saying, don't hate the player hate the game. Don't hate on nickleback for making tons of money, hate the music industry.

because I think a dunk should be touching the rim, your rockin the hoop. not throwing the ball in from 2 ft away. If you're more than 2 ft away, its just another shot, although this one was more forceful. I think the definition of the dunk should be changed. like I said, it was cool, athletic and everything else, just not a dunk to me.

pet store vs. dog breeders (Update, puppy is home)
jason21nl replied to DuWayne Steurer's topic in Off-Topic Forum
I would go through a dog breeder as well. My brother just bought a dog from one not too long ago. I got my cat from the humane society and it rules. Sure, the first 6 months she meowed non stop but I got a cat that plays catch, and fetch plus likes to be dressed up in ridiculous clothes. -
I hear rock band for 8 hrs every day, people come in just to play the game.
-
It was like a hard over hand lay up. its like if a guy at the other end of the court jumped and threw the ball, its just further away.
-
You should look at the definition of a dunk that I posted earlier. I know what you said, but my opinion is that it is not a real dunk. Reggie Miller said it wasn't really a dunk, for what its worth Mike Greenberg doesn't think its a dunk. Was it athletic? yes Did he take flight? yes but he was 2ft at least from the basket and if anything was lucky that the ball actually went in. I think he wanted to dunk it but knew he wasn't going to make it there so he threw the ball through the hoop. Just my opinion
-
yes, I'm aware how big of a guy he is. He is a freak, and can jump out of the building but I just don't think that it should have been counted as a dunk. I like his other ones more than the one everyone is talking about.

not sure if it has been mentioned or not in this thread, but on ESPN, they did a spring training report and Yost said Yo could be back in 2-3 weeks
-
Like I said in the Knight Rider thread, I didn't really want to start a new thread so soon, but I did anyway. Whats your favorite theme songs? I'm going with: The A-Team Knight Rider Magnum PI Star Wars (even though I'm not a Star Wars fan) Superman
-
The Knight Rider theme song is awesome. Since all the music talk lately there should be a thread on theme songs. I just started a thread, I don't want to start another...but I will

I'm not at the point where I'm over tired and can't sleep. Boooooooo

I don't know if its because I'm bored, or what, but that made me laugh hard enough to scare the cat off my lap.

Ned uses words that aren't allowed on BF when having no clue what to do next. I had more clever lines but using $#@ looks like i'm avoiding the cuss filter. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j290/jason21nl/NedYostScaredcopy.jpg

Justin Timberlake, Jewel, The Cranberries, and Sarah McLachlan...The Grease and Stand By Me soundtracks.

It was actually a good finish and could have been better if not for the crashes at the end.
-
do you like that movie? for some reason, I really like that movie a lot
-
I can't remember if we have had one of these or not, but I couldn't find one. I'm so crazy bored out of my mind. The sports on tv were no good today for me. Not into the race, or the NBA. I have watched the Legend of Bagger Vance 2 times in the last 2 days. There is nothing else on tv and it seems like I have gone through the whole internet twice. I have hit refresh on BF about 100 times just for something to do. I just want it to get around 10:30 so I can attempt to go to bed

Parking prices increase (esp. for Opening Day)
jason21nl replied to owbc's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I haven't been to a Bucks game in a couple years, but I think I paid $12 and walked a few blocks. Never been to a badgers bball or football game, same with a Marquette game. I used to pay $20 for a Packers game until I found a street to park on for free. I don't mind the prices right now, thats why I said if they continue to go up its going to suck for me. I get what you're saying though. I guess, for parking at other places, there are less games per year so they have to charge more. There are 81 home baseball games so I would think they could charge less. I don't know how that works though. Parking for the Bucks should be free including the ticket. -
most boring half time show ever
