    I’m sort of curious whether Woodruff has held a bat since Spring Training. I assume when the season went to the universal DH they just punted on the pitchers doing any sort of batting practice. I’m guessing they completed scratched BP for pitchers. I figured what the heck, it’s not like it could get any worse. Second thought, yeah it could. He could pull a Jimmy Nelson.

    Just a thought. Maybe they should have let Woody bat tonight instead of Healy. Woody has actually taken Kershaw deep before.

    When you give your pitchers no room for error as an offense, it is going to be tough to win. It is amazing they even got this far this year. Be interesting to see what can be done in the off-season

    Dodger Stadium already uses metal detectors to get into the stadium, at least in the bleachers. When I was there for the Brewers series in April, we all had to empty our pockets and get swiped with a metal detector before we could get into the stadium. First time that happened going into a baseball stadium, but I'm sure that's because it's LA and the problems they have had in the past.

    Got the same message. Uh oh is right. If this goes down we might be staring at a 100+ loss season for sure.

    I have never seen a team strand runners at 3rd with less than 2 outs more than the Brewers.
