  1. Woot! Now we're talking! Keep em' coming Prince!
  2. LEE! Nice single for El Caballo and it's back to even. Nice work.
  3. Nice play by Koskie, I'ts time for Hudson to get rocked.
  4. Guess it really is Jenkins Jungle out there... Last year that's an out or a double.
  5. That bat incident was scary. The play had routine written all over it...next thing you know, there's a shot of a poor woman with blood streaming from her nose. It's great to hear that the Braves players and coaches helped her and her husband out, and hopefully JJ and the Crew will follow that up as well.
  6. We need both Weeks and Clark in the lineup...what's going on with those guys is something that they need to play through...Benching Weeks or moving him to Center won't help his fielding, and since he is first and foremost a second sacker, we've gotta keep him there and let him work it out. Nice game tonight...I had fun explaining to my girlfriend how truly beautiful a good pitches' duel is...Lucky Cappy came out on top with another beautiful outing. Now let's get some consistency going! Let's get a good 7-2 win with Kazoo going 7 strong, Clark homering, Weeks not making an error at second, and Fielder still hitting lights out.
  7. Watching last night on TV, the crowd sure looked greater that 29K, and the consensus today seems to be that the crowd was bigger than 35K, which was around the actual attendance for both games.... I guess because of Spring Madness, the terrace and loge will fill up first, and several field level seats will stay empty.
  8. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet on an earlier page, but of the 5 times in history that a record of 5 HR's have been hit in an inning, 4 of the times have been against the Reds. I was truly amazed to hear that.
  9. *Gives David Bush a Standing Ovation* Best all-around game of the year by far...I'm sure everyone will agree with that... I'll be at the park for my first game of the year tomorrow...Let's pick up that split!
  10. Crowd of over 35,000... Ueck just call it the largest non-Opening Day April crowd since the inaugural year of Miller Park.
  11. This is NUTS. This definitely brings up the topic of inconsistency though doesn't it? It's good to hear "How far did it fly" from Powell, AGAIN. Imagine if this was the Luxair Home Run Inning...
  12. HOME RUN #4 in the inning?! Somebody wake me up!!! 9-0?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! See ya Clausen!
  13. WOW! Brady Clark! You've GOT to be kidding me. 8-0 Crew, and the flood gates have opened.
  14. And Bush follows it up with a single! Hoofta!
  15. 5 Ribbies in the game for Damian and its only the 4th! Impressive...now let's keep this lead!
  16. I love how most of the Brewers had cards about "doing well in school" and "being a leader", and then Turnbow's was "make sure you don't get electrocuted when you're flying a kite." Bush is sharp...8 K's is it? Niiiiiice. HOME RUN BILLY HALL! (just happened as i was typing this)
  17. Just got home to hear Uecker's call on that play. One swing of the bat and its 3-0...talk about efficiency.
  18. I'm really worried about this one...Teams have been hitting it hard off of Bush, and with the Reds hot lineup and a day game (roof open?) at Miller Park, they could be spraying hits left and right. That said, its time for Weeks to finally drill one and get this homestand back on the right track...It would be a pity to fall behind 3-0 against who we all thought would be the NL Central punching bag.
  19. Wild one in the Metrodome...Twins come back to tie it in the ninth after a 5 run deficit. In extras Michael Cuddyer hits a 2 run homer to propel the Twins over the Angels 12-10.
  20. If they were "good" fans, they'd be giving him some encouragment going up to the plate like the fans at Miller Park did for Prince Fielder after all those strikeouts in the first two games... Don't wanna lump all the 'Stros fans into one big group though.
  21. Boo. Yah. Feels really good, doesn't it? Now get those Brewers home at a reasonable hour and bring on the Reds!
  22. Despite the home run... Hats off to Cappy...Facing Righties as a southpaw all night with that stinkin' short porch in right and pitching the way he did is quite a feat.
  23. In a contest between Cubs and Astros fans, who would win the "Most Unnecessarily Excited at a Routine fly ball" award?
