Bob Uecker was the voice of my childhood. Not just the Brewers, but watching him in Miller Lite commercials, pretty much everything he was in. Of course, because watching the games on TV wasn't as prevalent, he was what got me through the rough times as a young Brewer fan in the mid 80's. Even after I moved away from Wisconsin as an adult, I'd still tune in to hear him and see what new stories he'd come up with....or laugh at the old ones. I'm thankful for the opportunity to listen and I know he'll be missed.

No pumping in noise. Just generally quiet for whatever reason. Top of the 9 people were making more noise doing the stupid wave than anything else.

I figured that. Yes, due to availability, I’d say I’m more of an Astros than Brewers fan. But it’s more 60/40 Astros. I’m interested in the Texans because they’re local, but I’m 95/5 Packers Texans

I believe that I haven’t been negative in any of my comments on the Brewers, have I? In fact, I’ve been a Brewer fan since my dad took me to my first Brewer game at 5. I’ve been a poster/lurker here for about 15 or so years. Do I cheer more for the Astros because of proximity? Heck yeah.

Point is, stadium plays the same for both teams. Contreras hit a no doubter to center. Didn’t need the short porch in left.
