I don’t disagree one bit. I live in Houston and fans here have been spoiled by the Astros’ success. So much so, that this year, there’s so much talk and questions on what to do. Most teams don’t have a consistent string of success for many years. So it’s enjoy the good while you’ve got it. There are plenty of other teams and fanbases sitting at home with nothing to cheer for. There is only one team at the end of the year who has won it all. In the meantime, it’s about enjoying the ride, good, bad or otherwise. I was 5 in ‘’82, so I don’t remember much of it. I grew up going to games and following the Brewers in the mid 80’s. Then the 90’s. The really not great years. And I still rooted for them and was optimistic, because that’s what fans do. The past few years of success is the reward.
