I don't want to read anything in this thread without having seen the final few episodes, but all I want to say is that The Constant(Desmond episode) was probably THE BEST hour of Lost I've ever seen. Holy crap
OK, just got back from the showing and the Benjamin Button film looks pretty amazing. Indy 4 was meh. I thought it was really cheesy/campy at the beginning. Very run-of-the-mill adventure movie. It started to pick up steam as it went along, but it was just too out there for me. I can buy Nazi's aging 1,000 years in a couple seconds and invisible bridges, but aliens is where you lose me.
<<22 years old I loved this show. My favorite episode would probably be the Christmas Special w/ the Noodle-noggin doll. I also loved Hysteria and Animaniacs.
And we need you now tonight! And we need you more then ever! Benny, I haven't been this nauseous for a win since last September! Let's end the weekend on a beautiful tune.
I'm thinking with all the early-ish(6 of the first 62) picks we have this draft, this year would be a good time for a trade. The prospects we trade away could in theory be replaced relatively quickly by all our picks, which with Jack Z at the helm it's a good bet we get some very good players.
What is awesome to me is that his velocity can still get 95+. How would he rank of the big three from Atlanta? I would rank Maddux ahead of him and Glavine behind him, so 2nd I suppose.
Zito/Hudson/Mulder were all selected within 2 years of each other(1997-1999), not really consistently over a 20 year period. I think it would be hard to find a team that actually can consistently develop great pitching. You could go through each team in the MLB and only think of two or three great pitchers in that teams existance.
Loved: Darryl Hamilton(my first love), Mark Loretta, Jeff Cirillo, Matt Mieske, Hated: Sheffield, Estrada, Eric Young(mostly for BBTN reasons), Wes Helms
Villy needs to bear down. It's all or nothing. Go for the gold. He needs to leave it all on the field. But he has to remember not to try to do too much, this could foil his gameplan. Go for 3-0 in series' victories tomorrow.
Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl will make the Wii your favorite system. Those two games are just godly. Although for Super Smash, I would suggest getting a Wii "classic" controller. They attach to the Wii remote from a little cord and they look like the old Super Nintendo controllers. Brawl is amazing on those controllers.
Another moment: I think it was back in '06, but when the Crew had a roadtrip to Coors Field to play the Rockies Sheets had the game where he gave up 10ER. It was a horrible game except for Sheets' base hit right down the first base line. I remember Darron Sutton just going NUTS because Sheets finally got a hit. Too bad he gave up like 7 more runs after that.
