Is there a more frustrating pitcher to watch than Gallardo? Good lord. Constant 25+ pitch innings, nibbling around the corners like a mouse, full counts to what seems like 75% of the hitters he faces... it gets old. -

Just because kids also play baseball doesn't make it a "kid's game". Old Hoss Radbourn would take exception to that.

Love what we're seeing from Hellweg, Pena and Nelson at the moment. With Thornburg falling on his face as a starter it's reassuring to know the Brewers still just might have some quality arms. Do either Hellweg or Nelson get called up this season? Hellweg has had four great starts in a row and Nelson looks to be picking up right where he left off in AA.

Saying somebody will not die right away is kind of a spoiler for this series. Right, I know, but I was just thinking that they're finishing up a largely Robb-centered season three so Stannis will be more of a focal point for the show in season four I'd hope.

You've got to remember that at the start of the books Dany is only like 13 or 14, whereas in the show she's portrayed much older. So, in the books she can come off as a whiny and flighty teenager at times while in the show she is quite a bit older and is generally portrayed as a strong young woman type, cherry-picking her best attributes from the books to make her more appealing. She was still kind of whiny and melodramatic in season 2 with the whole "where are my dragons" thing, but it wasn't so bad. I like Stannis a lot. This isn't a spoiler, really, but I'm glad we'll be seeing more of him in the future(maybe starting in the finale?). And his right-hand man Davos. I love me some Davos.

Of course Freese hits a grand slam there. Of course. The Cardinals are pure evil. It shouldn't be possible to hate something as much as I hate the Cardinals.

Looks like Arcia is starting to pick it up lately: 9 hits and 6 walks in the last five games. Is the low SLG concerning anyone yet or not really seeing as he is still young for A-ball?

I'm not so sure Lucroy will be fine. Lucroy has nowhere near the track record that Weeks has. Lucroy has 850+ ABs of sub-.700 OPS and around 300 ABs(2012) where he's been good. His not-goodness is more of an indication of the type of player he is, imo. Rickie has been stinking it up, but has always been a good OBP guy(Still has a higher OBP than Yuni) and I'd expect him to hit more towards his career norms the rest of the way.

Jimmy Nelson seems to have stepped it up a notch this year. Small sample but he's cut his BB/9 by over half and upped his K rate. Probably a safe bet he sees Nashville at some point this summer, yes?

It seems like she's the new Trenni, but Trenni always did good interviews and just seemed to offer a lot more to the broadcast than twitter polls.

Rickie displeases me. But I'd rather see him out there than have Gonzalez take his place.
