I agree, I think both have done great so far and will continue to look good. I do not have much confidence in our hitting coach and hope he does not change much with them.
I am getting both tv feeds and have chosen to watch the WGN feed because the announcers are less openly for the Cubs. Bill cannot control his love for the Cubs.
Interesting inning. I guess the home run mentality comes from the coaches. We need 1 run so hit Fielder/ take out Hardy for McGruder/ph helms. We would not try to get on base we want 2 run HR's with no one on
With Miller out we should not expect to see JJ. I checked and he is hitting 320 since he went back to his old stance and attitude. I hope he gets into the line up to see if this is just small sample or a trend we can look forward to.
It seems JJ is finally getting it. The last time he he started to get hot they sat him and he went 0 for the week. There must be a plan we do not know about.
Pitching is not looking good yet but the season will help give the pitchers some needed energy. Lets look at the runs scored instead of the poor pitching and feel good for a few more days.
Indy update after two no score. Phelps walked the first 3 he faced but coste picked of one and threw out next. Next inning he was awesome K K F9. Indians threatened in the first with no runs. could not get the Indy audio so I am listening to the Knights site . No comercials / clear audio
Just for the sake of fairness. Dave was replaced for his last at bat and by Nunnelly who should be awarded the last K. Dave was 0 -4 whith 3 k's. Hart with 2 singles. Hardy 0 - 4 but 8 defensive plays for the Indians.
I believe that Brad was moved up to allow him to qualify for the AFL. With his limited at bats this year he would benifit more form the AFL season than another month at HD. He will still get his at bats in Huntsville and another 2 months in Arzona. The Question is if any of the big 3 will be moved to Indy to ready them for next years season. All 3 were in Huntsville at seasons end last year. Playoffs are great but development is better.
As usual the Tucson paper was not even close. The numbers mentioned were off by hundreds of thousands. I do not know the actual figures but ignore these numbers. I believe the numbers were around the 200,000 mark to 250,000. I hope this one gets done soon.
I have known Bryan for most of his life and I believe he will be a big surprise for the Brewerfan family. He has very good mechanics behind the plate and good power from the left side with a very good eye. Also a great kid with a quiet confidencel Will be a good addition.
