  1. "Estrada was really aggresive on the first pitch there." When isn't he aggresive at the plate. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it. Come on Johnny.
  2. My god does he hit some laser beams. I heart you Prince.
  3. Yea Hart stinks, he should only play 1 or 2 days a week until he proves he's MLB caliber. edit. forgot my blue font.
  4. EDR with the slam dunk... and wow that was a high strike on Hall.
  5. ...queue the inning by inning break down of Sheets over his career showing that he does not in fact give up most of his runs early. We've already had it posted at least 3 times this year, yet people keep posting that Sheets gets worked early.
  6. on a positive note, what a heart breaking loss this will be for the ATL after Sheets goes the rest of the way hittless and the Crew puts up a 12 spot on Smoltzy.
  7. If he's so locked in... why is everything waist high down the middle, and the breaking ball is hanging.
  8. I don't get all of the excuses, he's pitching like crap, just say he's struggling Bill. The excuses they keep tossing out there each game are seriously starting to wear on my nerves. edit. Thank you Mass.
  9. Rember this guy, the other Cordero in the Carlos Lee trade. I thought he was supposed to be a pretty good reliever prospect but he's listed as a SP on Helena's roster at 22 years old? Was he just a throw in or will he have some value, 22 is awfully old for R+.
  10. I know the comments made by his father cause quite a stir. Here's the link to the story on the JSOnline. www.jsonline.com/watch/?w...7&id=24126
  11. Did anyone else catch this on the history channel? They have technology shows around it detailing how we're approaching some of the technology in the movies. I believe it starts again at 11 PM Central. Being a huge Star Wars and History Channel fan, I had to watch and DVR it. Very cool stuff, they break the down series into the various myths that Lucas borrowed from and some of the writers that inspired his work. I always took the series like it was a lesson (an epic) that we to learn from, so I guess watching this validates my feelings on the movies. I'm not ashamed to always be dropping Star Wars type quotes when I'm coaching anymore.
  12. Has anyone hear setup and supported exchange server for a small business? I work for a very large corporation and all of our domain/email/web hosting is done corporately. Mostly I do desktop/networking/hardware support and integrations. However, I've gotten roped into a very good friend's mortage business, I just setup small business server for him, and I'd like to host his email on the SBS instead of through his ISP. If anyone has setup this is up and can point me to some how to type guides I would really appreciate it. I looked on Amazon and I couldn't find a book that was exactly in the mold of where my questions are. Like do I need to publish a public IP on the other side of the router and those sorts of setup type questions. Configuring Exchange server really isn't my concern, more the connection between the server and the ISP.
  13. Well he has been a little like JJ when he first started, I fully expect Corey to turn it around and start taking cuts again. Maybe it's his wrist? He doesn't look aggresive like he did early in April though, so I see what you're getting at.
  14. ... and then Jackson did his best to give it back... however Nashville is still winning a slug fest after 5 complete 7-5. Yes McLendon has been pitching well, I'm not sure what to make of him. I've tried to look up his scouting reports on the site from last years draft but I've been unsuccessful this far. Velocity, pitches, and how well he locates would be things that I'd be interested in if I could find it. edit... found the official thread. official scouting report below. Seminole CC player profile 2006 statistics: 7-4, 1.48 ERA, 7 CG, 1 shutout, 97 IP, 73 H, 98 K, 14 BB, 4 HR, .209 BAA 2005 statistics: 11-1, 1.65 ERA, 2 CG, 82 IP, 58 H, 72 K, 12 BB, 2 HR Brewerfan.net scouting report McClendon doesn't get the biggest scouting accolades since he doesn't throw as hard as you might look by looking at his physical measurables or his statistics over his two years at Seminole CC in Orlando, Florida. All he has done though is get the job done by limiting baserunners, both via hits and walks, keeping the ball down in the strike zone and this year he started to miss more bats.
  15. Take the out at home... whomever made the call to cut that one off made the wrong call.
  16. well you could flip him and mench, but he's batting 7 or 8.
  17. That's a lineup to get us back on the winning track.
  18. Which is why if he comes up, I believe he's ticketed for the pen. He has to be more economical with his pitches.
  19. Obviously I agree with you Brian, but pretty much everyone else including the critics hated it. Some people just have no taste in fine cinema.
  20. I absolutely postively love PCU, and I still watch it every time it's on. There are so many great quotes, plus George Clinton playing "Stomp".
  21. Well Cain didn't really hit at all until the beginning of May, his BA was pretty terrible but he's been steadily improving. He's much younger and should develop more power as he moves up. He also hit 6 home runs in his first full season last year at WV, which isn't shabby for his age and the league. Gwynn only hit 8 home runs in his entire minor league career, I have no doubt that Cain will have more power than Gwynn. I'd say mostly if you're looking at this year's stats it's a small sample perception problem. He just started to pick it up this year, and the power numbers should come back up as he continues to hit the ball well and regain his stroke. edit - I didn't include rookie leauge stats for the homeruns, just A through AAA
  22. Thatcher and Balfour are far and my favorite 2 relief prospects. Though I guess Balfour isn't really a prospect, but you know what I mean. I root for guys like him to make it back and make another career out of it. He carried a pretty respectable and consistent mid 4 ERA in his MLB career before his issues, and I'd like to think he'd be better than that this time around. Without the benefit of seeing him pitch his only problem statistically is when he gives up runs, he gives up crooked numbers.
  23. I'm with you on that Pogo... he's still nearing man crush status for me.
  24. 18 strikes and 24 balls thus far for Suppan, I hope he finds his control soon.
  25. Plate discipline is the only issue I see as a problem at this point Brewer, he's still K-ing at a pretty high rate. 61 SO in 44 games for him thus far, with 12 BB.
