  1. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5244971 I just feel bad for Gallarraga.
  2. I am amused and laughing hard. This is awesome.
  3. Smelly Beer Cans.
  4. I completely agree. Been thinking like that since Suppan and Hoffman started sucking. Big changes are needed. Not the fire Macha change or Melvin change...A full scale blow up the pitching staff change and see what the kids can do. The vets are not helping at this point. Let's see what we have.
  5. Peterson is telling Vargas about how much his grand kids developed during his inning.
  6. Rickie is just swinging at everything. 3 K's today. He's just not good I think him and Prince (considering Prince will leave) in a trade could very well get us some great prospects to rebuild the team. Or maybe even a proven starter like Tim Lincecum. Or was he signed? I forget because I don't really pay attention. How about Nick Blackburn and Davis for Prince and Weeks. Yeah.
  7. LOUD NOISES!
  8. http://scrapetv.com/News/News%20Pages/Entertainment/images-2/chris-crocker-crying.jpg LEAVE HIM ALONE!
  9. He wasn't half bad as a Twin or Giant either. He is a hot head. He is a little irreverent. He's also better than any catcher the Brewers have had since Simmons. I would love to have him.
  10. A.J. Pierzynski? Really? Rather have him than Gregg Zaun or whatever other mediocre/bad/craptastic catcher we've been dealing with for the last however many years.
  11. About time. Knowing my eyes will be tortured less this year makes me smile. BTW, I think baseball looks the best in HD:)
  12. Just in case he reads...Thanks Seth. The memories you gave me in 2008 were worth it:)!! Good luck.
  13. Why do the beats brag about it then? And since when is making forty grand a bad job when all ameneties are paid for. Tom does not make 40 Grand. Are you kidding me? Dealing with fans and/or nonfans? Get over it. It is a part of your job. Writers can be criticized. If they can't take it, well so what. Tom seems to deal with it. Also who cares if the players are asses? Then tell the public that they are being reclusive and unwilling to give their perspective. If they continue to not speak to to you, so what? You can draw conclusions from their attitude, on the field demeanor, responses to other reporters. Reporters are not supposed to be liked. That is a bygone era nowadays. I won't comment on your specific job because it isn't relevant. I don't know you. Tom and Anthony are not starving and they also get paid for appearances on radio. They are not hurting. Maybe you are. They aren't.
  14. I always hear about sports writers complaining about their compensation. (not really). Tom and Anthony are paid respectable wages and do not pay for their lodging, food, and airfare. You are ridiculous. If it was so bad they would not pursue their chosen profession. Beat writers whine all the time, but they like it. They may hate deadlines and the long games but they always brag about how they travel and eat every cities great food. And how they like to see the sites and meet up with old friends. Spare me. Most of us work in jobs that don't create any access to anything remotely as cool as what they do.
  15. I am shocked about these reckless allegations. Shocked, I say! Just another piece of garbage.
  16. I heart Braun. Hoffman was aweome but Ryan is a big timer. Our Pujols!
