I hope your seriously not comparing people wanting to sit Hart a day to actually thinking people would want to sit an MVP because he had one bad game. Sometimes you have to over exaggerate so it is clear what a bad decision that clearly was..
Love that the Tieing run is up as soon as 1 runner reaches.. if there was only some way we could have required them to put at least 2 on.. yes.. I am not over it.
Because McGeehee is completely lost right now?At this point McGehee's so lost I'm not sure he could find his way to the on deck circle. He is so lost he actually showed up at the Texas - Tigers game today..
Actually middle of the order ... horrifying.. especially with Berkman available to PH... the nice thing about KROD is you know he will put two on so I really don't get worried until a 3rd hitter reaches.. until then it is a normal outing so no worries..
Walk, strike out, single, single, walk, strike out, line out.... HOLD It's funny because it's believable. You forgot on the the last two the count starts at 3-0 both times..
Shouldn't that be in blue? though I have chewed threw all my fingernails thinking of what Krod will put us threw I might throw my TV out the window if they run Wolf there again.
Where were the non believers.. I just saw a lot of arguments that it wasn't a logical move.. if Krod gives up 2 next inning it still bites them... but I applaud Wolf.. HUGE tonight when they needed it.. like I said earlier just need to guarantee a return trip to Miller.
The fewer looks they get at Wolf the better.. when you are up $1000 in Vegas you don't push it all in on one last hand.. take the house money and run.. it still may work out but I prefer to play the odds... It's like russian roulette. Why keep pulling the trigger when you can rest on the one who got you safely to this point. The more pitchers you use the more likely you are to find the guy who's off his game. And Randy Wolf is definitely on his game tonight. It's exactly why I'm convinced LaRussa's bullpen micro management is gonna bite him in the ass at some point this series. I am hoping beyond hope this works out and we win.. but I would take 1 or 2 extra runs Hawkins last inning and Saito this inning... LaRussa isn't going to get bit if Roenicke keeps letting pitchers hit with runners on in a close game..

He is a great fielder.. read it on JSOnline.. some guy name Roenicke was talking about it.. plus what if this goes extra innings we would miss his 0-4 if whe subbed for him..
I don't know whether I am more stunned that Roenicke did what he did or that people seem to agre with it.. it isn't about Wolf as much as adding at least 1 or 2 or 3 runs... At this point why would you take Wolf over Hawkins / Saito.. at best you could say it is even which then says take the better hitters..
I was curious if TLR would have let Rhodes hit there if Jay got on.. makes sense according to Roenicke.. oh well maybe we will get to see Rhodes pitch to this 4 straight LH.. I have never been so upset about a 2 run lead in my life..
How many Cardinals fans there were happy to see three lefties face Rhodes including the pitcher? 95%? I think that pretty much makes the argument right there..
I think that only would have made sense if they hit for Kottaras.I agree that not hitting for Kottaras was dumb regardless of the result which should have been an out anyway.. but then you have a chance to get another extra run and force the Lefty out of the game and you choose not to.. thank goodness the brewer fan in me is bigger than the logic fan so I can enjoy the run.
Plus if they bring in Lucroy and Hart then Rhodes is out and Morgan gets a righty.. for some reason this inning we wanted to keep in 3 straight lefties against a LH and one was the pitcher with an insurance run.. I am in disbelief..
