  1. I thought right away... why isn't Capellan in there instead of Wise... Wise has struggled his last few time when he was placed in the game with a lead only to give it up. ah... sarcasism... I missed that in End's response.
  2. Todd Jones (closer) for the Tigers has a 6.75 ERA. I saw it yesterday on Game Day.
  3. I thought Davis really deserved the win last night and I knew the runs were gonna be hard to come by for the offense. I thought that when Fielder hit that home run we had the game won... that is until they showed Wise warming in the pen. My first thought was oh no... he hasn't been good in cluth situations... and I was right. I was so hoping I was gonna be wrong. I was wrong with Jenkins the other night... I loved being proved wrong. Our pitching has been getting better as of late... we hung in there with the best last night and we still have a shot at a series win. Let's go Crew and Helling tonight!
  4. I think we are in for a long night offensively.
  5. YES! I hate it when the games aren't on TV. Big Time! I listened to the game on the radio and then had the Tigers/Cubs game on TV muted and the Tigers can sure hit. Great series Brewers... Bring on the Tigers!
  6. Nice Win!! My brother-in-law got to go to the game tonight! Lucky Man! Great job Brew Crew... let's get the sweep for Father's Day! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  7. Hopefully Kolb gets out of this inning without giving up a run. Nice job Zach.
  8. Kolb Jackson hasn't done so bad tonight. as of right now at least. Edit: Jackson got out of that mess with only one run scored. I'm impressed.
  9. MLB.TV is actually letting me watch the game... NICE! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  10. I thought Eveland pitched well in his last start. Granted he gave up that 3 run home run to Griffey but he was pitching scared at that point. A couple of better pitches in that situation and he could have gotten out of it or at least that 5th inning. Here's too hoping he can get through tonight's game (hoping for 6 innings) without giving up a home run and no more than 3 runs. Let's go Brew Crew. You're home at last!
  11. My work place was without internet yesterday afternoon so I couldn't listen to audio or watch it then. I had people updating me through the game. I too couldn't believe they were pitching to Castillo (spelling) but I could see why they didn't just put him on. I had confidence in Turnbow to put him away and get at least one win in Pitt. I was depressed when I heard they lost. I was mad at Turnbow for letting the team down again. He hasn't been sharp the last month or so. Our pitching staff needs to be totally redone except for Cappy. Davis needs work on his walks big time and Eveland and De la Rosa just don't cut it for me as starters. Hopefully they can improve since we probably have another month of both of them. I was excited about this season and now I just don't see them staying around .500 anymore. Not with the pitching problems and the hitting down. What happened to our 5 game winning streak? Let's bag this 5 game losing streak!
  12. I watched on and off during the game. No matter how bad they are doing I always check back in on them. The Brewers are in a huge funk right now and where in the world did the offense go? 3 hits last night? Man oh man. I am not very confident about today's game either. Let's see if Bush can turn his woes around.
  13. Cappy. we. need. a. win. badly. Thanks for the info.
  14. It was hard to watch last night's game. After the 3rd inning I listened to some music while at work. I couldn't bare another beating. The bullpen really needs some work. If we don't get that straigtened out then we are in for a big losing season. The offense has been in hybernation that last few days. I agree that Ned needs to do something (yell, lecture) because what he is doing now obviously isn't working. This is the Pirates for Pete's sakes! The Brewers need to win these games if they want people to believe in them completely!
  15. and Chicago found their offense today... lead 4-1 now off scrany Bynum's home run.
  16. very nice win tonight. Now let's keep the winning trend in Philly and string some road wins together. Davis did an awesome job tonight. Cappy your up!
  17. I agree but it is on the road... Come on Crew, get a win!
  18. so either way they both hurt you. that's a nice line up to have.
  19. I would still rather face Scott Rolen than Albert. Just me I guess.
  20. I just don't understand why people are pitching to Albert and not pitching to Bonds. It really baffles me.
  21. Explore away Yost because something needs to change!
  22. The Brewers need to do something with their pitching. If they don't we will be below .500 and will finish there. Our offense is awesome and we can score runs a plenty but asking the offense to come up with 15 runs every night? I think that is absurd.
  23. Here's too hoping that Griffey doesn't hit a homer against the Brewers for the next 3 days!
  24. I watched the game on MLB TV and AJ did nothing wrong. He rammed into Barrett like most players would to score. AJ was just excited that he actually was safe at home and slapped the plate. Barrett didn't even see AJ do that so that wasn't a factor in Barrett punching AJ. I saw Podsednik lunge after Barrett to keep him down and then Anderson started throwing punches at Mabry. It was a huge mess but AJ didn't deserve to be thrown out of the game especially since he was the one punched and then he walked away. He didn't get into anything else with anyone. Barrett is a whimp and was just embarressed he got showed up. For Cubs fans to be condoning this kind of behavior says alot about them.
