  1. Maybe Kremblas was removed to make room for Ned at AAA.
  2. Ibanez has some nice guitars in that price range. http://guitars.musiciansf...XSEM=0&CAWELAID=148404582 Epiphone Les Paul's are OK too, but they're really heavy, but you should be used to that having played bass...
  3. Did he send everyone home early? He was there again last night. I pretty sure he closed the bar, but I went home early. Dale was singing along to our rousing rendition of "Drift Away". I'll give more notice for the next show...
  4. So clearly this is a good place to stop after a Brewer game then...
  5. If anyone is interested my band (CWF) is playing tonight at Curly's Waterfront Bar & Grill in Pewaukee. We go on at 9pm (or whenever I feel like it).
  6. http://milwaukee.brewers....809053424217&c_id=mil Here's the play from last night...
  7. I noticed it will not scroll up using my touchpad on my laptop. I guess there's some bug with Vista (insert Microsoft jokes here). It does seem faster though...
  8. 1250 is the one I listen to the most I guess just because I know it's always there. 540's show is good when Drew Olson or Homer are running the show, but their other on-air people are awful. 620's show is useless.
  9. We were gritty battlers last night. That pitcher was pretty tough. I personally didn't make solid contact all night...
  10. ??? I wasn't aware that Metamucil was a banned stimulant.
  11. That's my philosophy too. I might give them a nod, but otherwise I'll just leave them be, especially if they're with their families...
  12. Allow me to be the turd in the punch bowl. Would CC have continued to pitch like he did had he not given up that "hit"? Often times guys who know they have a no-no going can tense up and try to be too fine with their pitches (See Parra, Manny). Maybe giving up that "hit" loosened CC up a little bit. I'm not saying that happened, but how are we to know? Regardless, that official scorer robbed us of ever really knowing for sure no matter if the call gets over-turned or not...
  13. I'll be there. Let me know if anything changes...
  14. I will not let this game ruin my life again. I will not let this game ruin my life again. I will not let this game ruin my life again. I will not let this game ruin my life again. I will not let this game ruin my life again. I will not let this game ruin my life again. I will not let this game ruin my life again. I will not let this game ruin my life again. I will not let this game ruin my life again.
  15. I just found out the other day that it's okay to use the self-checker for beer. Yay technology!
  16. Eric Gagne and his mini-entourage were at the bar my band was playing at last night! He was hitting on our guitar player's fiance too. So if he plays today and pitches like crap, we know why...
  17. I think the league does well in Eau Claire and Lacrosse because there aren't as many CONVENIENT options there when it comes to watching sports. UW-Milwaukee has a D-1 College program and they draw about 20 people a game.
  18. Michael Scott Dr. Cox Dr. House All time greatest...Homer Simpson
  19. Unless your a person who lives in Waukesha I can't see how this will draw people. I can't stand driving in Waukesha because the streets are so screwy. Plus, in this portion of town there's really no where to park. Like others have mentioned however, there won't be additional cost in (other than what the team is paying) if the idea bombs and at least the field gets an upgrade. So I guess there's not a down side...
  20. Man #1: [Lois and Peter are watching a Sam Adams commercial on TV] I'll have water, please. Man #2: I'll have water too, but with lemon, please. Man #3: I'll have a Sam Adams, please Man #4: It's 9:30 in the morning!' Man #1: Don't you have an outstanding DUI? Man #3: Yeah, but I gotta get the taste of weed and @$!%$+ spit out of my mouth. Man #4: I'll have a Sam Adams too. Sam Adams: Samuel Adams. Always a good decision. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peter: If you could be stranded on a desert island with any woman in the world, who would it be? Quagmire: Taylor Hanson. Joe Swanson: Taylor Hanson is a guy. Quagmire: [Laughs] You guys are yankin' me. "Hey, let's put one over on Quagmire." Peter: No, he's actually a guy, Quagmire. Quagmire: What? That's insane. That's impossible. Quagmire: Oh god. Oh my god. I've got all these magazines. Oh god. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quagmire: Don't look at me like that. Fat chicks need love too... but they got to pay.
  21. I had the unfortunate experience of a man in his 50s writing a check to pay for his groceries and wait until the checker was done scanning his items to ask for a carton of smokes. This transaction began at 8:50pm. There was only one cashier and all I had was beer. What do you think happens next?
  22. Luke- In case you didn't already count me in, I'm in like Miles Davis!
  23. Glued flip-flops! Closer look: http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s31/crazyk1294/oboma.gif
  24. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/images/2008/08/09/LEuuzIRk.jpg Manager Ned Yost congratulates Ben Sheets after his shoutout victory. Yost apparently told Sheets to "Stay away from Heartbreakers."
