    Duke has 47 pitches through 2 innings. He won't be long for this game unless we start hacking at everything and let him get some low pitch innings in.

    Since Jeff Suppan is a real winner, he will ensure we get a sweep today. When I saw Hall's numbers against Duke, all I could say is "wow..." LOL.

    After seeing Greg Aquino's mental breakdown yesterday, seeing Vargas bear down during this game is that much more impressive.

    Ned should start Tony Gwynn Jr., he knows how to play center field and will put up a .450 OBP which will allow him to have a .700 OPS, which is completely terrible but at least he isn't Bill Hall. We should trade Hall for Manny Ramirez. I still remember when Hall was terrible at 3B. I'd make bets with my friends on when he'd make errors. Usually I'd win. He'll get better. (insert "he can't get much worse" here, lol)

    The only person who let anyone down tonight was the guy bouncing 55 foot fastballs and throwing 3 feet wide of the catcher. Aquino threw 13 pitches and the go ahead run crossed the plate. 18 pitches and 5 runs had scored. I know I wouldn't have predicted that--especially since he'd been doing a bit better lately.

    Jose Capellan is no better than Greg Aquino. It is not Ned's fault Matt Wise's arm will fall off if he pitches too much. It is his fault no one was up in the bullpen. That said, if Aquino does his job, which he should have, they shouldn't have needed to have other people up in the first place. Life isn't a video game where you can have a guy come in and have 2 guys up in-case that guy sucks. People's stamina doesn't refill that quickly once they start actively throwing.

    If it makes anyone feel better, Jose Capellan would have just given up the grand slam instead of walking the guy, lol. It was pretty much Aquino's inning to lose, we probably can't use Dessens and Wise tonight, and Shouse and CV were gone ... so yeah. Unless Bow is going to pitch 2 innings, it is Aquino's inning to lose, and he lost it. lol

    This was a very funny episode. I enjoyed it. All of the betting was hilarious. That and the watermelon dropping from the top of the building. "If anyone gives you 10,000 to 1 odds on anything, you take it."
