  1. Milwaukee Brewers Dave Bush (5-6, 4.45) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060624/capt.2cb8c9f1ea244b2aaac8f811f20da836.brewers_royals_baseball_modw101.jpg Bush has faced the Reds twice this season, once pitching a CGSO and the second time giving up 7 runs in 4 innings, taking the loss in a 15-4 Reds win. vs. Cincinnati Reds Aaron Harang (9-5, 3.45) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060624/capt.7cccaaebf615481b8c2872aae42f1e02.reds_indians_baseball_ohtd101.jpg Harang has faced the Brewers twice this season, once pitching a CGSO and the second time going 5 innings giving up 4 runs and getting a ND in a 6-5 Brewers win. ... My IGT mojo has to turn around eventually, doesn't it? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif . Something has to give here, both Harang and Bush have CGSO's and have gotten hit hard in their two respective starts, we'll see what this start brings.
  2. Milwaukee Brewers Zach Jackson (1-0, 4.70) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060628/capt.6a435d622ea34c90a94cfe52c71f9cce.brewers_cubs_baseball_cxc101.jpg @ Minnesota Twins Francisco Liriano (8-1, 2.21) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060629/capt.61a1ee6e08c64618ae835efd90347759.twins_liriano_mp104.jpg
  3. The Twins are smokin' hot, I think that is what this one comes down to. It's unfortunate going to Bow didn't work. It was the right move (considering Turnbow has probably been the best guy other than Shouse in the pen) based on the stats (Cuddyer vs. RHP < Morneau vs. LHP) where your other options are to walk Cuddyer with the base open and have Shouse face Morneau or bring in Wise to face Cuddyer. It's too bad, but tomorrow is a new day.
  4. Yikes, that was scary. Nice catch double G.
  5. Milwaukee Brewers Carlos Villanueva (0-0, 2.65) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060621/capt.37243d03812c48b881153d95011f7e08.tigers_brewers_baseball_wimg105.jpg Villanueva is making his first start since June 14th, taking the rotation spot vacated by Rick Helling. @ Minnesota Twins Brad Radke (6-7, 5.40) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060625/capt.ea5309293b9140deb0a59bdcd0397758.cubs_twins_baseball_mnto105.jpg Radke is 2-1 with a 2.27 ERA in June.
  6. Question here. To play the other side. Would walking Lee then having T-Bow go after Ramirez had been the better thing to do? The Cubs would have then only gotten one AB by their best two hitter instead of one. Am I off-base here? Ramirez likes fastballs though. He got D-Bow last year and got Zumaya this year and with the bases loaded you know he'd be seeing a lot of fastballs. D-Lee a week removed from the DL is the guy you want there.
  7. the dugout is to your left, D-Lee. Nice to get out of that one.
  8. You don't want D-Bow intentionally throwing balls, he throws enough of them on his own. The way our 'pen is right now, this is the right move to bring in Bow.
  9. Definitely, Carlos rakes at Wrigley.
