  1. Wes Helms pinch ran for Florida 1B Mike Jacobs. How sad is that? lol
  2. Daron looks like he is in mourning with the black suit attire and glum facial expressions, lol. Hopefully at some point we can add to this lead and not do a typical Brewers score a couple times early and not again http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/indifferent.gif .
  3. Pittsburgh Pirates Paul Maholm (3-9, 5.02) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060722/capt.ee054f598bea47ce9d9fb91f5f767e0a.pirates_marlins_baseball_mds104.jpg Maholm has lost five of his last six decisions, with his last win coming on July 3rd in New York. He made one start against the Brewers this season, receiving a no-decision in Pittsburgh's 4-3 win on June 1st at PNC Park. vs. Milwaukee Brewers Chris Capuano (10-5, 3.49) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060722/capt.81d3c5053fac48ccb30f5cd6dcbdc553.brewers_reds_baseball_csb102.jpg Capuano is tied with the Diamondbacks' Brandon Webb for the most quality starts in the Major Leagues with 18. When Capuano does post a quality start, his ERA is 2.65. When he doesn't, his ERA is 11.20. He's 1-1 against the Pirates this season with a 6.00 ERA in two starts. Pitcher info from the Game Preview. I've gotta get the prediction mojo going again, I predict an 8-2 win! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/devil.gif
  4. When Prince is hot, he is bananas crazy good.
  5. Can Sheets hit 8th? That wouldn't be so bad. It would fit our team MO. Snell got us fairly good last time.
  6. Yeah, I was thinking about going tomorrow, but I know it being a day game and considering last night was 30+ and today probably will be too, the bleachers will probably be pretty full.
  7. Wise took the fall, Helling was the guy throwing the punch. Matt sold poorly, but at least he didn't get injured. lol
  8. To quote brewers19 from the last IGT in which Davis started: "Doug Davis has an unhealthy obsession with close games."
  9. A 9 run lead is down to 4. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif We need more runs! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  10. Brady Clark is the best baserunner ever.
  11. booty booty booty Barnwell with the error http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/indifferent.gif . Call it a base hit if you want, I'll call it an error. lol
  12. This HAS to be said: I hope Matt Wise didn't injure himself falling. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  13. Ah, that's the Victor Santos I know. It makes me warm and fuzzy inside to watch him not suck for us.
  14. If we score 10 runs I bet Turnbow gets some mop up duty http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif .
  15. Here comes Vampy, hooray runs! Well... it is a night game, but come on, it's Victor Santos.
  16. At least when Barnwell hits the ball at someone, people tend to make errors on it. lol
  17. That's 5. You guys can feel free to keep scoring and outpace my prediction, though. 6 Webbs burgers for $5 for all! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  18. Good thing Craig Wilson is clod in right. Yikes. lol
  19. Bill Hall likes the Reds, but he likes left handers more.
  20. Well, Pittsburgh got their 2 runs. Now we need to score some. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  21. No, he's just permanently dizzy. [insert Ben Sheets joke here]
  22. Pittsburgh Pirates Zach Duke (7-8, 5.19) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060715/capt.7997d08afdbf4a609bd83e261708b17f.nationals_pirates_baseball_pagp101.jpg The last time Zach Duke was matched up against Doug Davis, Duke allowed just three runs over 7 2/3 innings against the Brewers in a 14-3 rout at PNC Park. Duke is 2-1 in July with a 6.45 ERA. Milwaukee Brewers Doug Davis (5-6, 4.82) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060715/capt.44a054613d264f388673a125bf5f5387.brewers_diamondbacks_baseball_pnc105.jpg The hard luck story of Doug Davis has continued this season as Doug has been the victim of a team-high five blown saves in games he has started, including each of his last two starts. Davis is 1-1 with A 4.78 ERA in July. ... Zach is sad because he knows we are going to get a 5-2 victory. I feel some good mojo coming http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/devil.gif .
  23. Today's lineups: Brewers 2B Weeks CF Clark SS Hall LF Lee 1B Fielder RF Hart C Rivera 3B Barnwell P Ohka Reds RF Freel LF Dunn CF Griffey 3B Aurilia 1B Hatteberg 2B Phillips C Valentin SS Castro P Milton ... yes, Corey Hart is in the lineup for Jenkins, you are not seeing things. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Barnwell is also in the lineup. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/indifferent.gif
  24. Milwaukee Brewers Tomo Ohka (2-1, 3.23) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060719/capt.39679747b5424d97bc95795b595bf332.brewers_giants_baseball_fxpb104.jpg Ohka allowed two runs on six hits in five innings against the Giants Tuesday, his first start since May 1 because of a rotator cuff injury. @ Cincinnati Reds Eric Milton (6-5, 5.48 ) http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20060714/capt.745085fe104d45fe886916bf96961d3a.rockies_reds_baseball_csb106.jpg Milton gave up 7 runs in 7 innings in his last start against the New York Mets, including 3 home runs. ... It's Sunday and we're facing a sweep. You know what that means, right? We're going to win by 7 runs. lol
  25. Maybe that 13 man staff wasn't such a bad idea. I find it hard to blame Dana too much, he didn't do anything to help himself, but he was left to clean the mess. Something needs to be done about this bullpen if we even want to be .500 this season.
