  1. Glad Plush didn't hurt himself there. Nice win! Untuckem time for Rickie.
  2. Gomez rocking the braids and a big fly! Nice Carlos, nice.
  3. Good game. Nice to get a win out of that one. It was a beautiful night at the ballpark. One moment I'm not sure if they caught on TV was when Mark Kotsay pulled some gritty veteran shenanigans on Joe Mauer. When YuniB hit that popup towards the dugout Kotsay sprung up to the top step from out of nowhere and parked himself on the railing to distract Mauer and not let him reach into the dugout. Kotsay then was smiling at Mauer as he walked back to the plate. I thought that was pretty funny.
  4. I won't complain about Kottaras because he isn't Nieves lol. I'll be out at the park wearing my Brewers polo which only sports one loss on the year. In that game my friend caught a foul ball, so we assume that to be a win as well. Hopefully the day off provides some energy and Wolf can stay sharp.
  5. Kotsay for Lucroy is ridiculous. Use Kottaras if you insist on pinch hitting. I realize Kottaras would probably have hit in the pitchers spot, but ugh.
  6. I'll be at the game tonight dodging severe storms and hoping for the best. With Pujols down this is the time to make a run at burying the Cardinals. A long start by ZG would be much appreciated with the Marcum uncertainty tomorrow.
  7. Because Tim Dillard has pitched really well and has earned the 7th inning role! (I want to make that blue, but that's really what RR thinks)
  8. Kyle Farnsworth is the Rays closer? LOL. I still remember when he slugged Paul Wilson in the face.
  9. I'm glad RR and Dale gave this guy the business. That's a joke.
  10. I find it slightly odd the roof is open. There have been much nicer nights where the roof has been closed. Eh. We'll take it, I guess.
  11. Dear Brewers, stop swinging at junk. It's okay to take pitches. Thanks, me.
  12. That half inning was pretty sad. The ball never left the infield.
  13. Davey pointed out on the radio broadcast Morgan looked to have moved up in the batters box a bit to compensate for the knuckleball. Maybe more guys should do that.
  14. Well, a silver lining is that if Kotsay is in center the inning still continues because he doesn't catch that ball Gomez just caught?
  15. The only ball really hit hard so far has been the 3-run HR. That's the most frustrating part about this inning. Yo doesn't appear to be comfortable at all. Just have to grind it out and get as many innings as you can today.
  16. That just bought McGehee another month in the five hole. That said, hooray!
  17. Hooray, Cali! Welcome back. George is essentially Gabe Gross as a catcher (marginal BA, takes walks, has XBH power), but compared to the at bats Nieves put together he'll look a lot better.
  18. Axford can only pitch in the 9th, Loe has pitched a bunch of days in a row, and Hawkins ... might be posting on twitter?
  19. Chris Carpenter feels the need to explain the ramifications of baseball occurrences to his son, such as when the Reds and Cardinals got into that scuffle last year. Yeah, RRR, Marco Estrada is not a late inning reliever. He'd been hot, but now he's not. Please stop using him that way. Thanks.
  20. Yeah. Marcomania is about done. He can go back to AAA now. lol
  21. Where's Kameron Loe? My television tells me it is the 8th inning, but he isn't pitching. I'm very confused.
  22. I got that same line last week. It made me chuckle considering you can either buy online or call, but not buy at the ticket window. I ordered a ticket last weekend, I'm hoping I'll still get the voucher.
  23. Thankfully, in that scenario it is likely RRR would have already used Wil as a pinch hitter since he's not afraid to use his backup catcher, and thus Randy would likely just refuse to pitch. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif I'm not in the Nieves train at all, but it looks like at this point we're stuck with him.
