    And here comes the bullpen!!!
  2. crossface21
Send down Barnwell, bring up Rottino.
  3. crossface21
Yost should pull Clark out of the game for that baserunning error on the spot.
  4. crossface21
He was removed to give Gwynn some playing time and since they WERE comfortably ahead.
  5. crossface21
Lee has 10 triples in his career.

It looks like a couple of guys in the bullpen were stretching out but D-Bow is still sitting. Why not run Turnbow out there for an inning if Davis gets taken out? Get him some work and then the Brewers will have more time to come back from the sudden deficit they find themselves in.

I think they might be drinking a little too much Kool-Aid in the bull ben right now if you know what I mean.
  8. crossface21
That's great action in the bullpen. Is our bullpen that good to be goofing around like that? Good stuff.
  9. crossface21
    This is more like it!!
  10. crossface21
The Pirates look like a bad AAA team so far.
  11. crossface21
How sad is it that even up by 5 already, there's is no chance that the Crew is safe from this lead evaporting?
  12. crossface21
Holy crap. Can't believe he laid off that pitch.

I'm very frustrated at this point. I can honestly say I think most of us would have made better decisions tonite than Yost did. This was a complete meltdown and pretty much cost us any chance we had at any playoff opportunity.

    YIPPPEEEE!!

AM620 WTMJ is reporting that they heard Gwynn is being called up for tonites game agains Arizona. They are trying to get some confirmation but haven't gotten it yet.

As for the rumors with a trade for Maddux, it could be a good move depending on what the Brewers would have to give up for it. He would be a good presence in the clubhouse and nothing like having a guy who has done just about everything in baseball to help along some of the younger guys. With that being said, he would be a solid 4 or 5, but if Sheets and Ohka come back strong, where would you go with Maddux? Maybe take Bush out of the rotation? Maybe Ohka or Bush the long reliever? Would be a lot nicer if Sheets or Ohka were already back so they could get a longer look at them to see if they are gonna be back or struggle the rest of the year. Trading Clark and De La Rosa and another prospect could work. At least that eliminates trying to find playing time for Hart and we can stop having JDLR waste our time.

I can't believe that just happened

    YES!!

This is the perfect time in Milwaukee, the 4th of July, the Brewers at home in a big series, and Summerfest going on. What a great day to be a Milwaukeean. On that note, it was unfortuate the Brewers had to run into the Twins. The AL Central is just devastating everyone right now. For the most part, the Crew was just outplayed in every face of the game. I think the Brewers will bounce back with a big series here. Following the trend of this team this year, I'm looking for them to sweep the Reds after being swept.

I think we as fans have a right to complain when we want the team to win and some things just don't make sense. The fact of the matter is that there is no way Jenkins should be hitting in the 3 hole.
  21. crossface21
I think Jenkins is hitting third because he hits Silva pretty well. His .222 clip will scare them silly.
  22. crossface21
Good job by Gross getting it done. The umping behind the plate today has been awful against the Brewers. They could do a better job just guessing where a strike will be. Gonzalez was painting the corners and couldn't get a call and the call agains Clark was just bad. That pitch was way too low.
  23. crossface21
Had that been Moeller, I'm sure it would have gone off the wall.
  24. crossface21
The guy who caught the HR ball, his girl in red was hot.
  25. crossface21
Outstanding. Nice job Kos. Looks like Prior is on his game.
