No matter how bad Johnny Estrada is behind the plate, at least the Brewers don't have Henry Blanco back there...how the heck does Hall get to first on that passed third strike, especially with the short distance to the wall behind the plate??
By the way, that was Aramis Ramirez's 200th career homer, making that the second milestone homer the Brewers have given up so far this year. It should be noted that Barry Bonds is on pace to break the career record in Milwaukee.
I'm amazed Ramirez got to that grounder by Weeks...Soriano follows with another leadoff hit..uh oh. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
Well, at least it's only 2-0. The Cubs announcers can't shut up about how slow Vargas is working. After every pitch it's another wisecrack...ugh. I hate MLB.TV sometimes.
In his last start it was noted that Vargas is a quick pitcher with no one on, but once he gets baserunners he becomes extremely deliberate. Steve Trachsel would be telling CV to hurry up right now.
Cappy's been making Carlos look silly all night. Edit: As for the Doorman, I loved it when the Giants were in town last year and he stood up and pointed to a copy of "Game of Shadows" when Bonds struck out.
