  1. Yeesh...bad baserunning again. Part of it was a good play by Conine on the hard-hit ball, but it still wasn't pretty. And Hall almost gets picked off after that.
  2. Another 0 put up by Cappy. Here comes all the "Cappy is the REAL ace" posts again. Great.
  3. This is kind of off-topic, but how many freaking times have the Reds made adjustments to their uniforms in recent years? It seems like they redo something every year...this year they change the lettering/number shape and put sleeves back on the jerseys (not that I'm complaining about these unis..I think they actually look pretty nice compared to the old ones).
  4. I noticed the undefeated record after 7 innings first, too, but this was the second thing that popped out at me:
  5. Like Schlitz said, it probably would've hit the base of the wall, but it was hit extremely hard.
  6. Prince juuuust missed getting that one out of the park...Spezio had to reach up to get it while running pretty hard.
  7. Speed kills...Rickie got the infield single because Rolen was charging so hard, tried to flip the ball up from his glove to his hand, and he couldn't get a handle on it.
  8. I've seen ski masks on Pujols and Yadier Molina...in the field, they have them pulled up over their head, but during their at bat the masks are around their neck like a bunched-up turtleneck. Every player on the field is wearing sleeves, but no Brewers are wearing anything to cover their ears, unlike those pansy Cards. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif During the pregame I saw coaches on both sides with gloves on in addition to sleeves.
  9. Estrada makes up for the bad throw down to second with a double. Looks like he's on the Ryan Braun plan. As for online game trackers, Fox Sports has a pretty simple one from what I remember...I haven't checked it out yet this season, though.
  10. It's so cold, Albert Pujols is wearing a ski mask a la Elijah Dukes tonight.
  11. Officially delayed now. Not looking good.
  12. Wow...Braun's OPSing .918...looks like he broke out of his early-season funk. Hopefully he keeps it above .900 until the time he's called up. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  13. There's no question in my mind that winning the first game gave the Brewers a little momentum heading into the second game. I think that if the Brewers had lost that first game, they would've been in a funk for the entire second game. Instead, they come out with some great hitting to finish up the first game and carried it over into the second game. Good job overall tonight...Bush was great. Anyone know what the pitching matchups will be for the St. Louis series?
  14. CoCo picks up two saves in the same night...nice. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Bring on the Cards.
  15. Think we see CoCo if Turnbow gets into trouble?
  16. Let's hope that the ending of this game doesn't get too exciting.
  17. Yeesh...Miggy Cabrera crushed that one. Solo shot, though...no worries. Edit: FSN Florida just found out one of the disadvantages to live audio from the dugout...someone dropped an F-bomb and the announcers apologized for it. I'm half surprised Graffy didn't drop one during his tirade last night.
  18. Slick DP turn by Rickie...he's having a heckuva game.
  19. J.J. is as hot as hot can be right now...Rickie just missed an inside the park HR, too. Florida was lucky the RF was backing up the play on the missed dive.
  20. Great throw, Jenks! That throw was an absolute laser...wow. Nice job barehanding the ball off the wall, too. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  21. Mitre already has 45 pitches with only 1 out in the 3rd...not good for the Fish, who have next to no one available for tonight's game in the bullpen.
  22. Wow...Rickie crushed that thing. Shows what he can do when he's allowed to unload on a pitch.
