  1. Here's a stupid question...if the game is called for tonight, would they finish this game before starting tomorrow's regularly scheduled game or after? Not sure how the new rule works...rain delays give me brain farts.
  2. This is the stupidest ballpark ever. You absolutely can't hit anything over the outfielder's head here. Unbelievable.
  3. At least Turnbow's benefiting from the huge strike zone. That last out kind of scared me, though, since I didn't see it and Florida's announcer awoke from his coma to make it sound more exciting than it was.
  4. Willingham's had a couple of circus catches out in left tonight...Estrada just missed getting it by him.
  5. Come on Billy...get CoCo the lead. Shorten the swing and get J.J. home. Edit: I'll settle for moving the runners over for Estrada.
  6. Time for the Jorge Julio Experience. Julio's good for at least 3 more LOB, don't you think?
  7. Tony getting thrown out has been the most exciting thing that's happened all night. Maybe it'll light a fire under them. Probably not, but we can hope.
  8. Corey with a base hit. Too bad he's doomed to be stranded.
  9. Brian's House gets the double play...nice. Now let's get some freaking runs, shall we?
  10. Josh Hamilton hits his first career home run tonight against the Diamondbacks off Edgar Gonzalez.
  11. Kelly Shoppach throws out a basestealer for the final out, giving Cleveland the win.
  12. Ugh...this is so frustrating because the game is inexplicably still close. How many LOB have the Brewers had this series? At least 18, right?
  13. At least they only stranded one that inning.
  14. As long as the Brewers stay within a run I have no worries, assuming Jorge Julio finds his way into this game.
  15. Hopefully Uggla's sac fly won't end up being a game winner...looks like another delay if they can get through this inning.
  16. *sigh* Bases left loaded. Now let's hope Vargas didn't get ice cold sitting around during the delay.
  17. Looks like the Marlins decided not to throw a cold starter back out there...Lee Gardner in for the Fish.
  18. Albert Pujols juuuuuuust missed a 3-run HR off Solomon Torres in the 9th inning that would've given the Cards a 3-2 lead with no outs. Eckstein tags up and advances, though, so St. Louis has 1st and 3rd with only 1 out, down 2-0. Edit: Scott Spiezio ties the game with a 2-run single on the next pitch. Go figure.
  19. Switching MLB.TV to see the Indians/Angels game. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  20. I can't really tell on MLB.TV...is it raining in Miami now? Maybe that had something to do with Corey dropping that ball, but it was still ugly.
  21. I found this on the Baseball America Prospects Blog, posted March 27: www.baseballamerica.com/b...ects/?p=92 Sounds like he has the stuff to 2-hit the Brewers tonight.
  22. The first time through the order will be just trying to figure out what the heck the guy throws. Makes getting through the Marlins' order the first time unscathed even more important....I get the bad feeling that the Brewers will be behind early, though. At least Jorge Julio is available for the Fish tonight. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  23. If it wasn't 600 feet to dead center, Hall might've had a chance to tie it. At least he didn't go down in 3 pitches. The LOB numbers are maddening, though....at least they're getting guys on base. Suck it up and go after the rookie tomorrow. Then again, last week the guy was pitching in A, which means the Brewers have no scouting reports on him and will spend about 5 innings just trying to figure out what the heck he's throwing.
  24. Brewers really needed Weeks to get on to lead off the inning...sounded like he broke his bat on that grounder. Counsell follows with a lazy fly. I'm calling for a Prince K to end it.
