  1. He's officially done.
  2. I have to admit I would be disappointed if Brewers didn't add any pieces today. While I think the potential is there to be a good team, I still feel they are a player or two away from being a playoff team. Not saying Gagne is that guarantee player, or even Dye for that matter, just saying it would have been nice to see them add somebody. Still an hour and a half to go, I'm still keeping hope!
  3. Jayson Stark is saying nothing new on the Gagne front yet, and the Brewers are still just as much in it as Boston. They made it seem as if Dye to Boston was done, essentially freeing up Gagne to the Crew.

  5. Sent you a message about the TV
  6. Tailgator, I was looking at that one tonight at the store, i felt like th picture was pretty dark, is that adjustable? Given it was next to a Samsung, how clear is the picture, and are there pretty high levels of contrast?
  7. Any word on that picture of Prince yet? I've yet to see this look he gave, and am rather curious.
  8. I wouldn't still need the hd antenna if i have the HD channels for Time Warner would I?
  9. Yea, I was on Cnet for the past few weeks, but was hoping to get some firsthand advice. I appreciate the thought though!
  10. I actually have a Taylor Made R540 I was just going to list on eBay if anyone is interested. Virtually brand new, PM me if anyone is interested. (Mods I was going to put this in trading post, but this thread seemed to be a much better fit)
  11. I am in the market for my first HDTV this week, and was really hoping to get a little advice before I purchase. Not that I don't trust the guys as Best Buy, I would also just like to get a little first hand opinion. I am looking to stay around 700 dollars, in the 32 inch range (small studio apartment). I have looked at a few, and really liked one at Sears that was made by Sylvania. I am wide open though, and just was hoping for some input/advice. Thanks in advance, I look forward to reading!
  12. Well flip on ESPN then!
  13. Ted Lilly set the tone, great, we all got it. Look what Jimmy still did. Moron.
  14. Which is why you can't even listen to the 1250 postgame show anymore, that's all it is. Which is too bad, I really enjoy Tim. (Notice only one name, that's my vent).
  15. http://graphics.jsonline.com/graphics/sports/brew/img/sep02/royster92102.jpg I shuddered while posting this picture. (Jerry Royster)
  16. I found my tickets, and just tried calling you, I'll be around all night, so get a hold of me back, thanks!
  17. Cordero has to go back out there in the 10th, there's no one else at that point. Rather him than Spurling or Ball-four anyway. Linebrink for that situation anybody?
  18. They don't deserve to even utter the word playoffs.
  19. I know it's Griffey and all, but why walk the winning run into scoring position? EDIT: Nevermind, Gametracker is just being ridiculous.
  20. Couldn't see because I'm at work, but does Todd Coffey still sprint into the game from the bullpen? I have always loved that, he gets all jacked to get in, it makes me feel like he truly loves/appreciates what he does.
  21. Everyone wondered what Braun could do without Prince behind him in the lineup, like if he could still get/hit the same pitches he was. Well, yup.
  22. Lopez has a broken cheek bone, he will be released from the hospital today, however they don't believe he'll need surgery to fix him up. So good news on that front, Wiser was sure scared yesterday!
  23. Fact: Soriano has started every Cub game since April 25th when he was held out on a rainy day at Wrigley because he was still nursing a tender hammy. Derek Lee has started every Cub game all year other than his suspension except 3 or 4 in May when he had a slight injury. Aramis Ramirez started every Cub game that he was not on the DL but one on June 27th when he was still a little sore. Really makes you wonder why the Cubs fall off late in every season doesn't it?
