  1. Stephen Drew HR, 3-2 D-backs in the top of 8.
  2. Here's the only link I found... Gross sent down per Rotoworld
  3. Just to the left of home plate, right behind where a left handed batter stands in, this moron in a blue Cubs jersey stands at every freaking thing that happens. It's already driving me insane and it's the end of 1. Not to mention I'm not sitting behind him even and I'm annoyed. Just notice this jerk he's the kind of guy that annoys you even though you're hundreds of miles away.
  4. This is getting ridiculous. I know so many people just bash Ned for what seems like something to do, but it's getting down right ridiculous! This team hasn't won in YEARS and here they sit on the verge of August with the best record in the National League, with a team of 21-24 year olds running the infield, had to deal with SP that didn't live up to expectations, and was STILL able to dip into their farm system to maintain the pace without having to make trades to stay above water. Villanueva has had 2 bad outings, and they just happen to be within the last week. He had 2 outs in the inning, and you hate to burn another arm from the pen just to get 1 out. I swear, I don't know how much more of the "Ned is an idiot" crowd I can handle. You can't even turn on sportsradio 1250 anymore without hearing someone rip Ned to shreds. They players love him, they organization loves him, they are 12 games above .500 with a division lead in late July. How fast everyone forgets how bad it's been for so long. I think some in this city need to flip on another game and just watch how "bad" every manager is in the entire league. This is just getting tiring.
  5. Bad times in Brewtown people?! This is getting ridiculous. I know so many people just bash Ned for what seems like something to do, but it's getting down right ridiculous! 6. I was at a game in the mid 90's and BJ Surhoff was out on the warning track doing some stretching, jogging, and throwing. These kids were asking him for stuff, as I was about 12-13, I wanted something too. He had given away everything he had, and I strolled down by the outfield fence with my mom, and yelled to him "Hey Mr. Surhoff, got anything for me!?" He proceeded to reach in his pants and pull out his cup, and held it up in the air. I was speechless, had no clue what had just happened. My mom to this day doesn't stop laughing when we relive that moment, as BJ just smiled at her and jogged away. I will never forget that afternoon.
  7. Aramis homered, 6-2. This one is over. I hate the Cubs.
  8. Take an initial from the entire pitching staff if at all possible!
  9. Pretty slow interview, nothing too intense, but none the less, a quick recap... -Getting Sheets back is the best possible Aug. 31 deadline the Brewers could make -Bonds is getting hot, won't let him beat the Crew -Prince's swing is a dead ringer of Bonds', quick and direct to the ball -A-Rod is the best player in baseball -Told a story of interviewing with George W Bush for the Texas job That was about it, pretty basic interview
  10. Hey everyone, I'm looking for some tickets this weekend, to any of the games. I can paypal money right away, live in Milwaukee and can meet or arrange pickup this weekend, thanks in advance!
  11. Graffy last played outfield for the White Sox in '01, he had 0 errors in 3 chances. I too am intrigued by this lineup, I would LOVE to see this pay off and the crew put up a ton of runs just to shut up the Cubs and ESPN again.
  12. Hart Hardy Braun Fielder Mench Graffy (LF) Miller Weeks Cappy Did I hear that right?!
  13. I've come to expect nothing less from the city of Chicago.
  14. I agree, if he fizzles again tonight, I wouldn't plan on seeing him make his next start. The road is a cruel, cruel place as it is.
  15. I would put Villanueva on that list, too. He's probably a more realistic option than Parra joining the rotation at this point. Melvin said on 1250 just yesterday that there is no chance Villy joins the rotation this year, he is far to valuable in the pen. The only way he would make a start is out of an emergency situation.
  16. Personally I'd just take my chances caulking the wagon, and floating across.
  17. Who knew that Graffy has MASHED Davis in the past, I like that, I like that a lot
  18. "it's not an endless rope either." Said Yost: "He's going to have to find a way to get himself out of it pretty quick." He has laid it out there, Cappy knows what he needs to do, and he knows he needs to do it soon!
  19. Just saw this posted, and haven't seen it anywhere else here.... www.continentalindoorfoot.../index.php www.jsonline.com/watch/?w...7&id=26535 Plays during the spring summer months though it appears.
  20. Just announced on ESPN during the broadcast.
  21. Braun knew he got that one. Nothin wrong with the kid taking a little peek at it!
  22. 1-1 down in the flat lands.
  23. Bush has got to get that ball down in the zone. Everything is up tonight, and it's going to come back to bite him in the butt if he doesn't change it.
  24. Well, that's not the start you're looking for. Shake it off and don't allow anything else.
