I hate that RR pulls Jeffress, but won't pull k-Rod to play matchups in a much closer game.
-
They never press RRR in the post game interviews, NEVER! It is disgusting how the reporters just let him off the hook on a regular basis. I'm sure if they pressed him, they wouldn't be invited back in the future though. Well yeah, and the Milwaukee sports media is comprised of dolts and limp noodles. Like we'd see anybody from WSSP ever ask a tough question.

Carlos Gomez strikes out swinging!? You don't say!

Smith has obviously been overused this year and it has caught up with him this month.
-
It's looking like another night of offensive futility.

RR drives me up the wall sometimes and his managing in the NLCS was beyond questionable, but he's not in Ned's league. Between 'Soup pitched great', 'Pitcher X was one pitch away' and his meltdown(s) in the final week of 07 ... yeah, I'll take RR any day of the week.

I'm going to chalk this loss up to the stupidity of defined bullpen roles. If it is the 9th inning, the closer must close -- no matter who is coming to the plate. Doesn't matter that the Brewers have two lights-out lefties in the pen. The Schafer bunt attempt is puzzling, at best. Why are we bunting in that situation? Why is Schafer the man to do it? Perplexing.
-
THE CLOSER MUST CLOSE! Because, uh... reasons? Because, you know, he's our guy.
-
I hope we acquire another arm before Thursday so I don't have to see Kintzler warming up every game.
-
3 of the first 4 Mets hitters lefties? Bring in the RHP closer anyways. Ugh.

Best record in the NL. 2nd biggest division lead in baseball. Suddenly, things don't seem so bad.

Really starting to feel like a collapse is underway

If Garza hadn't pitched an absolute gem on Saturday, we'd be talking about an 8 game losing streak. I understand that these types of slides are part of a long season, but the Brewers need to right the ship in the coming days.
-
Could have been worse. Ron, please yank him.
-
The pitching was really good. The offense, however, was a dumpster fire. Really getting fed up with Sir Hacks A Lot Gomez lately. Take a pitch once in a while.

The Berkshires in Lee County, MA are beautiful. Rolling hills, lakes, quaint resorts. It reminded me of Lake Geneva or some of the towns in northern WI. It's only a couple hours west of Boston.
-
Honestly, just hoping for 1 win in this series. Tough matchups all three days.
-
The bullpen was great. RR left his two worst bullpen pitchers out of the game tonight. After 16 innings, something had to give.
-
Lucroy, please. Please end it

A few thousand. At this point, you're invested enough to stay for the whole thing
