  1. I'm with you. I refuse to believe that Braun and Fielder will go down these last 3 games at a meek 4 for 22 with only 2 RBI.
  2. If the Cards hit that same ball that Yuni hit, it takes an extra hop and bounces over JHJ. Or the Brewers boot it.
  3. Pretty sure you can't come remotely close to proving the second part, but feel free to speculate.
  4. You could go away. That would help me cope a little bit tonight. So could you.....I have every right to vent as anyone. I'm not happy right now.....sorry.Your venting might get more sympathy here had you decided to show up more regularly than just tonight. Otherwise it just looks trollish.
  5. It's hard to blame a part of the offense when they have 6 runs in 5 innings. Understood. I mean this particular game, as it has unfolded. When everyone is joining in, you have to expect more from the guys who got you there. I love them both, but they've had 1 good AB between them tonight.
  6. Brewers simply can't win when Fielder and Braun are 0 for 6 in a game where everyone is hitting. But let's blame everyone else, because it's more fun.
  7. I can't remember the last good AB by Braun. Even if he comes through here on sheer talent it's not been a good AB.
  8. Bottom line is the Cards have killed every bad pitch. Hart, Braun and Fielder have had the same opportunities at bad pitches and haven't come through in big spots like the Cards have.
  9. I'd consider running a pitcher for CM here. More than consider.
  10. The Brewers have 5 runs and Morgan, Braun and Fielder are 0 for 6.
  11. If the Cards hold on to win this, STL will win the series in 6 games having gotten 24 IP out of their starters. That's almost impossible to fathom.
  12. If anything, I think that half-inning should tell you that there is no point walking anyone intentionally in this game with the exception of Albert. Walking Yadi changed that inning a lot. And then trying to make the great play at the plate, rather than making the smart play in a game such as this where every single run matters, cost them.
  13. Again, it's fair to criticize RR, but I haven't seen anything to convince me that that there is a single mortal ever born on this planet that would have made any difference in the dugout in any inning given the available pitching.
  14. I hate Nick Punto with bases loaded. Better off pitching to Yadi I think.
  15. doesn't the ball fly pretty good with the roof closed? It's not coors or anything, but definitely a hitter's park. I could be wrong on that though. It flys well, but it's not just the park. It's certainly not a bandbox like GAB or Philly.
  16. I kind of hate that MP is getting a reputation as a lauching pad. It ain't the park. It's the hitters and pitchers.
  17. Either way the Texas lineup has to be wetting itself with glee.
  18. Sometime in the 6th inning . . . . "I don't think 12 runs is going to win this game."
  19. Maybe the problem isn't the pitching or RR. Maybe the Cardinals are just hitting everything and everyone.
  20. The Cards have simply been playing better than the Brewers. No decision RR makes can change that fact.
