    Obviously it doesn't matter and people will think what they want but I think the right field camera (53 seconds) is by far the best view. That ball is still climbing, it's going pretty slow, not really traveling forward at a high rate that makes you think it's going to have the power to get out. Then it hits the roof and richchets forward a lot faster than it had been going to me at least. I don't know, I hated physics, maybe I'm completely wrong about the way the ball is moving and my eyes are super biased or something. Just seems the longer that ball is in the air and the higher it goes, the more power it loses and I feel where it ended up being caught is about where it would have ended up had it not hit the roof.

    It has happened 27 times in Statcast with that exact exit velocity and launch angle. The ball has traveled on average 312 feet at that exit velocity and launch angle and has gone for a hit once (a double.) The only time a ball hit at that launch angle ever goes out is extreme winds, obviously not the case here or a really short porch like Fenway or Daikin.

    Like that other video shows, the ball didn't hit the roof and drop straight down. If that ball is still going up, it's losing momentum and not carrying as far, I'll take the side of a ball never being hit at that velocity and that launch angle ever going for a home run.

    That had a launch angle of 49 degrees. Has there ever been a home run on a launch angle like that?
