    I just hate the way we play. 4 pitch walk to Sanchez but Bar is up next and we don’t have any confidence in him to do something productive so he sacrifices despite being in a 2-0 count and the pitch he bunts being ball 3 which means it’s a lefty on lefty matchup for Hamilton, who isn’t a good hitter anyway. He strikes out which allows them to intentionally walk Chourio which sets up a tough matchup for Turang. Just so stupid all around.

    I would not have Hall warming up. Pitcher who doesn't strike out a ton of guys and walks a ton is not the guy to bring in with runners on base.

    Funny how we sub Vaughn for defense and then we have two tries to convert a grounder into an out and can't do it.

    I'm looking at prospects coming up, who we have now and what Lara looks like and what he projects as and asking if he's going to be one of our three best outfielders.

    Maybe he would have challenged it if he hadn't wasted a challenge on the pitch before that was almost fully in the strike zone.

    Is Lara a starting outfielder for us in 3 years? I'm going to say no and fairly easily.

    That is a leverage call to challenge, even with one left. I get players have other things to think about than is this a high leverage call that's worth a challenge when we only have one left but so many of them are so bad at it.

    He was like 102-103 in the 4th, still getting to 101, almost 102 in the 5th and got to 101.5 once in the 6th and then never higher than 99.6.

    Feel like when he's 102-104 and then dropping to 99-100 it's a sign that you should probably take him out.

    If you're adding a prospect to the 40 man roster, you're removing one of the non-prospects and then just optioning the prospect back down to the minors whenever the player he replaced comes back. You don't have to expose them to waivers lol.

    He's throwing 100-104 with elite extension. He doesn't need to make the fastball look even faster.

    Gets to 0-2 on two fastballs, throws two curveballs that Roden makes contact on, then blows him away with another fastball. Just go fastball until they can prove they can catch up to it.
