All the talk about moving Shaw and Aguilar down in the order was interesting because it doesn't seem like many are aware of Braun sitting in the 3 spot with a .224 OBP and .662 OPS.

Yeah in video games that were allowed to use player names they still had a goofy fill in name for Bonds. I hit so many dingers with Jon Dowd in MVP Baseball 2005.

If you're looking to trade for high leverage relievers two weeks into the season, you're desperate and the cost will be exorbitant and we don't really have the prospects to pay an exorbitant cost unless you're willing to trade Hiura or maybe Brown.

Perhaps the Derek Johnson pixie dust isn't as magical anymore. Brewers team ERA: 23rd Reds team ERA: 6th I realize this post was from awhile ago, but I for one sure miss DJ. Reds have also played 6 games against the Pirates and 2 against the Marlins.

It really doesn't matter how many batters they faced the third time through the order or that it's a small sample you wanted an example of the young starters struggling the 2nd or 3rd time through the order and looking at the stats says they have.

Woodruff first time through - .250/.294/.250 Woodruff second time through - .400/.500/.667 Woodruff third time through - .286/.286/.571 Burnes first time through - .235/.278/.471 Burnes second time through - .235/.278/.588 Burnes third time through - .500/.600/1.625
