  1. I can see both sides of the argument for Fiers and Peralta. Fiers' numbers as a starter (107.1 IP, 65 H, 1.43 ERA, 28 BB, 111 K) were insane. However Peralta is 4 years younger with better stuff and also had a very good numbers. Peralta's always been a favorite of mine so I'll vote for him. Can't go wrong with either one though.

Yes it sucks but it's part of the Mountain Time Zone being so under populated. It's the same in every sport. The only one it doesn't really effect too bad is the NFL because while St. Louis plays in a division with San Francisco, Arizona and Seattle, they only play once a week, games are played in the afternoon or a specific time at night that is reasonable for every team. NBA has Oklahoma City and Minnesota playing in a division with Denver, Utah and Portland. Those teams plus Memphis, New Orleans and the three Texas teams are in the Western Conference. The NHL has Minnesota in a division with Colorado, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. Dallas is in the same division as Phoenix, San Jose, Anaheim and Los Angeles. One Western Conference division is made up of Nashville, Columbus, Detroit, Chicago and St. Louis. It sucks but what are you going to do? You can't just put teams where there aren't enough people to support them.

Yeah, it makes a ton of sense to put Milwaukee in a division where their division "rivals" would be in Dallas, Seattle, Oakland and Anaheim. Arizona is a problem too. Arizona moves to the AL West, then Houston is going to move to the NL West. I'm sure the Astros would rather play in the AL West with Texas as a close rival.
  4. That would explain the rumors I heard regarding a criminal investigation.
  5. Craig Counsell is now protecting Prince in the lineup. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

  7. Really Brian? Greinke's BABIP is 150 points higher than the league average?

I know we as fans always like the prospects; but in reality I think most if not all managers would much rather go with veterans. When the veterans suck, it doesn't hurt to try the rookie.
  10. Bumping this back up. Terrible news out of Russia where a plane carrying players and coaches for the KHL team Lokomotiv Yaroslavl crashed in Western Russia killing all but two people (one player survived with burns to over 80% of his body but he is not expected to make it.) Among the players and coaches killed are former NHLers Pavol Demitra, Karel Rachunek, Ruslan Salei, Karlis Skrastins and Josef Vasicek. Coaches for the team were former NHL players Brad McCrimmon, Alexander Karpovtsev and Igor Korolev. Former Admiral Robert Dietrich was also killed.
  11. Come on Yo. You have to throw strikes at some point.

  13. Betancourt is so bad. If he's going to play at least bat him 8th like yesterday.
  14. Maybe he would've been able to advance Hart if he would stop bunting at balls out of the strike zone and instead wait for a good pitch to hit.
  15. You don't have to give away "I GOTTA GO" shirts. Just give out generic gold shirts with the Brewers logo on them and then sell the "I GOTTA GO" and other shirts in stores.
  16. I never understand the "wear gold shirts to the game", if they want people to wear gold, then hand out shirts as they enter Miller Park.

  20. Green is going to melt under the pressure of 9th inning defense in a 3 run game.
  21. Taylor Green is so good he doesn't even need to do Beast Mode. It's implied.
  22. 4 errors for Nashville in 5 innings. 2 unearned runs by Fiers, 0 BB, 4 K.
