The good news is Green played 2B last night. Maybe they want to get him playing there a few nights in the row to get him more used to the position before they call him up.
I believe the La Quinta in Delafield has rooms at $49 a night. It's a nice hotel in a great location. There's a movie theater and Walmart within walking distance. Across the road is a Target and a bunch of other places. It's also right by Marty's Pizza, expensive but really good. It's also easy to get from there to Miller Park. It's right off I-94 about 25 minutes from Miller Park.
He may be better, though I'm not even convinced of that but he's definitely not better by a long shot. .256/.308/..358/.665 as a 25 year old in AAA. I know a lot of people don't like MLE's but Farris' is .227/.268/.305/.573. That's horrid. For comparison, Green's MLE is .283/.351/.458/.809.
1. It was a swipe tag so his hand is flying up and away from Lugo after he thinks he made the tag. 2. He had already touched home plate but I think I can explain why he did. In that case when the ball beats the runner by that much, 99.9% of the time the umpire is going to call the runner out even if he's not tagged. So I would kind of be shocked too even if the play was close and I thought the catcher missed the tag.
