Bill once again going on a rant about how draft picks should sign early because the money at the end is more than the money in the beginning. He once again neglects the high flame out rate of prospects, especially pitchers so it would make sense for them to get as much money as possible right away.

The commonly used phrased for Caribbean hitters is "You don't walk off the island." Basically saying in order for them to get noticed, they swing at pretty much anything and everything. -

It's not just you. In fact I refuse to go to any game where there's even a remote possibility of the roof being closed because it's that uncomfortable in there. I don't know if Attanasio and company are completely oblivious to how brutal it is in there in summer (or even spring) with the roof closed but they need to figure it out.
