Pagan watches it go out and points to the Mets dugout as it's in the air. Awesome against the Classies. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif -
Cardinals lose.
-
Rivera wasn't handed the job because Rivera wasn't in the organization. When Zaun got hurt the Brewers had the 5th worst record in baseball. What would have been the point of getting a Treanor type at that point?
-
Umm, don't know if anything has been posted about this post but this was amazingly close.
-
Lucroy got his job because Zaun got hurt, not because of anything Melvin did.
-
Not a 1 run start anymore.
-
LOL at Plush giving the T to the fans in the bleachers.
-
Here's an idea, why not take a couple of pitches?
-
Ever notice how Prince stretches for the ball on plays when he doesn't need to but doesn't on the plays he does need to?
-
And some more awful defense.
-
LOL at that throw.
-
Marry me, Alex Morgan.
-
Whoa, since when is a side arming righty good against lefties?
-
I don't know why we would waste time trying to trade for him. He's a decent hitter and bad defender. You could likely call up Green, get the same production and instead focus on getting a SS.

Our schedule doesn't ease up as much as you seem to think. The Cubs are always toss up games, 8 games against the Cardinals in August, 4 on the road against Pittsburgh, 3 at the Mets who have already won a series against us at Miller Park, then 4 more games against the Cardinals in September, 4 against the Phillies, 3 at the Reds.
-
Haven't spent more than 5 seconds looking but the first team to pop into my head was the 2006 Cardinals who were 34-47 on the road.
-
Melvin will never sell.
-
Never when the manager is the one who endorses it.
-
He says the Brewers likely won't offer him arbitration though.

Craig Smith turns pro a day after David Poile said he had a chance to make the Predators out of training camp.

Yuniesky Betancourt: What value does he bring to the team? (part 2)
trwi7 replied to Oxy's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
He had 1 walk in 63 at bats. I always refer to Major League II when it comes to spring training stats. Rube Baker: Wow, Willie's really got some power. Lou Brown: Off a guy who'll be bagging groceries in a couple of weeks. Add to that games being played in Arizona and lots of hitters can look good no matter how crappy they are. Spring training stats in Arizona and facing junk minor league pitchers led to Erick Almonte and Jeremy Reed making the team out of spring training. -
It's very likely his option would have vested if they didn't trade him.
-
It's not the fans who wouldn't like it, it's the union. It would be pretty obvious what the Mets were doing if he was still pitching well and they just randomly took him out of the closer's role.
-
I doubt they care. As long as they don't have to pay him $17.5 million next year.
-
More than 3. Pretty much his whole career.
