Umm, you're not going to get the runner at 1st or at home, so forget about both of them and get the guys standing halfway between 2nd and 3rd. -
I hate Betancourt. I hate Melvin for keeping Betancourt and not looking to upgrade and I hate Roenicke for playing him.

Ugh, I hate Betancourt. I wish I could hire somebody to gauge my eyes with ice picks whenever he's batting or a ball is hit to him.

Of course he was early. If he posted it on April 1st everybody would be expecting an April Fools joke. -
Kotsay looked pretty awful at the plate, and looked very slow on the basepaths and in the outfield. To paraphrase Dennis Green: "he is what we thought he is..." Betancourt looked awful at the plate too.

It was 6 extra pitches and he finished with 101. I doubt it made a difference.

I would agree with the Kotsay thing if it led to any runs, but it didn't.

He was 4-5 with a homer on opening day last year too. Didn't turn out so well.

Wow I'm dumb. I just realized that you can switch back to the classic gameday, which I like a lot better.

The funny thing is one of the main reasons they don't want it is because it would take too much time. What they don't realize is it would take less time to see the replay and change the call than it took for Kotsay and Roenicke to be done arguing.

I don't think anyone was especially concerned with the top of the lineup. Kotsay, Betancourt and Nieves were the main ones to be concerned about and so far they're 0-2 with 2 K's.
