    It's going to be awesome listening to Coshun, Augustine and Nelson all year talking about how awesome having veterans like Counsell and Kotsay for a championship caliber team.

    Gomez will probably start on Tuesday even though he doesn't match up well with Derek Lowe. Also, how does Kotsay match up well with Lowe? He throws a sinker and Kotsay is a specialist at grounding out weakly, so yeah I guess that is a solid matchup...for the Braves.

    So he finally gets smart and puts Morgan in the lineup and then stays dumb and leaves Gomez at the #2 spot.

    Hartland got hail twice today. Once at around 10:30 this morning and again about a half hour ago.

    I totally agree and after the game, if you want to go check the stats or how hard a pitcher was throwing you can't even do that. Unless I'm just missing how you can do that.

    McGehee has a .724 OPS right now. That's not terrible, but it's not good either.

    Entirely agree with this post. It's alright to be negative, but must it be so relentless?Because we've been given so much to be optimistic about so far, right?

    I think you meant to put you "fans" instead of "you" fans (nice, btw). Speaking only for myself, I didn't think this team was very good to begin with.

    He obviously didn't have a play on Stubbs because he was playing behind the base but he somehow had a play on Hanigan he was probably at least 5 feet past 3rd base and running on contact? There was no play on Stubbs or Hanigan so look to see if you can catch Janish between the bases and he would've if he looked.

    You mean other than get Janish out when he was halfway between 2nd and 3rd?

    It's painful to watch Wolf pitch.

    We're out of the inning if McGehee just concedes that he can't get the runner at home and just decides to get Janish who's standing between 2nd and 3rd.
