Only took 7:28. They scored after they turned it over and Penn St. couldn't pick it up so they had a 2 on 1.

The Badgers are certainly poised for another deep tourney run. /toolazyforbluefont

Almonte is listed at 6'2 245 and certainly looks the part. I doubt he could play there for even a day or two.

Betancourt starting is just depressing. I could handle it if he could hit and not field or field and not hit but he sucks at both and Doug made absolutely no effort to upgrade the position.
  5. trwi7
Betancourt with 2 errors today. I'm absolutely ecstatic that he's our starting shortstop! Thanks, Doug!

http://www.youtube.com/wa...&feature=player_embedded There's video of it. Just an absolute screw job. Those refs should be fired.
  7. trwi7
Yep. Just absolutely ridiculous. The refs checked out after that no call on the Rutgers drive.
  8. trwi7
Rogers if he's healthy and stretched out. Rivas if he's not.
  9. trwi7
    19-13 record with a 93 RPI. I don't see that happening.
  10. trwi7
Greinke won't be ready for opening day. Fractured rib.
  11. trwi7
It was your first time on radio, you were probably nervous, I know I would be.
  12. trwi7
Roenicke said they're going with a 5 man rotation and not skipping anyone.
  13. trwi7
Yo looked great. Gomez's homer was probably 420 feet. Over the 380 foot sign and then off a back wall past the outfield berm.

"Betancourt has the offense behind him." - Bill To be fair he also said he sucks on defense in a nice way, but still.
  15. trwi7
Betancourt is all kinds of suck.
  16. trwi7
    Yes, 7 PM.

Imagine if that game would've gone to overtime. Depending on if it was close and there was a bunch of fouling going on to extend the game we might've missed the entire first half.

Who didn't want to watch the matchup between Shaun Marcum's school and Larry Bird's school?
  19. trwi7
Brewers are running into a ton of outs this spring. If they do this in the regular season I'm going to hate it.
  20. trwi7
Pitch F/X is working for this game.
  21. trwi7
A cheap, good middle reliever with great stuff like Parra has is extremely valuable.

Like danzig said they can't play at home and they can't get easy baskets. If their defense fails, they struggle to come back in games because they don't get fastbreak points or even fast points 15 or so seconds into the shot clock. The offense is so methodical that if they do get down by say 10-12 points, it's really difficult to come back. Especially on the road or on a neutral court.
  23. trwi7
Yet it happens against the Badgers every single year. Coincedence? I doubt that.
  24. trwi7
Those guys posted better OPS's in the majors than Maldonado has in his minor league career.

This is a great post. Wish I would've read it in more detail earlier instead of just skimming through.
