  1. At least 50% Bulls fans at the game tonight and the MVP chants by Bulls fans for Rose were louder than the fans for the Bucks have been all season. There couldn't be less interest in the Bucks right now.
  2. Isn't soccer a popular sport in the suburbs? I'd imagine they would want to build a stadium in Brookfield or Mequon or someplace like that if they got a team.
  3. I have seen both attendance wise lately. The Admirals are right around what the announced attendance is, the Bucks are nowhere close. Enough said.

  5. I said lately, not all season. Last 8 games they've averaged 8,543 which is around what the Bucks have been at even though their announced attendance is in the 12,000-14,000 range.
  6. The Admirals have been drawing more than the Bucks lately.
  7. Rock Your Baby? Really? I don't think that song does what a closer's song is supposed to do.
  8. The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications is good.
  9. I've known about Hockey Night on Y! for a few years. No games are blacked out on it no matter where you live.
  10. The Bucks had their best season in 10 years last year and their attendance is pretty much the same as it was when they were winning less than 30 a year. People say "oh the attendance will be bad if we blow it up". I'm still looking for evidence of that.
  11. No trades because the Bucks are a failure of an organization.
  12. http://www3.allaroundphilly.com/blogs/trentonian/yankeessuck/uploaded_images/larussa_t-781817.jpg
  13. As far back as I can find their attendance and they've always been in the top half of attendance and the only teams to consistently outdraw them are Hershey (most historic franchise in the AHL), Manitoba (play in Winnipeg who are desperate for an NHL team), Chicago (huge city with a big fan base), Providence (Bruins affiliate right down the road from Boston so they can see prospects easily), Grand Rapids (Red Wings affiliate, same as Boston) and Wilkes Barre/Scranton (Penguins affiliate, same as Bruins and Red Wings).
  14. The only interesting soccer is the indoor variety. Would not even waste my time with an outdoor team.
  15. They were asking him what he liked about the team and he said pretty much everything except for the bench. He said he likes Parra now that he can focus on 2 pitches instead of having to use a full starters arsenal.
  16. Don't you have to beat Youngstown State to win it too?
  17. Guessing they'll do a two minute interview with Prince and then spend the rest of the show talking about the lunch options for the Yankees and Red Sox and then end the show with the hosts voting on which options are better.
  18. MLB 10: The Homestand Don't know where you can watch it though.
  19. I can't imagine the Rangers or Astros would be happy about a team moving to San Antonio. FWIW, when MLB expanded with the Rays and D'Backs the cities who submitted an application for a franchise other than Tampa and Phoenix obviously were Buffalo, Mexico City, Monterrey, Nashville, Northern Virginia, Orlando and Vancouver. Others that were rumored but didn't submit an application were Charlotte, Washington D.C. (obviously wouldn't happen now) and Guadalajara.
  20. Of course it was. That's because Farris is more of a utility player than a star.
  21. Here's a review. I'm pretty sure it's legal.
  22. Well Weeks put up a 6.1 WAR last year, so if he maintains his production from 2010, it's not out of the question.
  23. Pretty sure PECOTA had the Padres finishing last, the Giants finishing 4th and the Diamondbacks and the Diamondbacks winning the NL West last year.
  24. Young doesn't make any sense. The thing holding us back is defense and over their careers Young has been worse than Betancourt at SS. Pitching is fine, offense is fine, defense is awful so somehow adding salary and making the defense worse than it already is makes sense for us?
