  1. Wolf has the worst FIP and xFIP among our starters.
  2. Major props to the organ player (name escapes me at the moment) for playing "With a Little Help From My Friends."
  3. I honestly think Wolf might be a better hitter than pitcher.
  4. Isn't it awesome how our worst starters are guys who signed free agent contracts in their 30s for $10 million a year?
  5. Epic fail.
  6. Wow. Nice one 2nd base ump. Completely miss a caught stealing. Moron.
  7. I added him the second I found out his FTD tweets meant Fear the Deer. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  8. I'm no soccer expert, but continuing to give up early goals can't be a good thing, especially in a game with so little scoring.
  9. Ivey is not a good defender. He runs around a lot and dives on the floor after loose balls which makes him look good, but he's awful. Can't stay in front of anybody.
  10. No and I'm glad because he's terrible.
  11. Jsonline has a blurb about Jordan possibly being traded and they're too stupid to come up with that themselves. Redd shouldn't be ahead of anyone on the depth chart.
  12. Ugh. Rumor is we're trading Jerome Jordan for $1 million. I'd much rather keep him for cheap and see if we have a decent backup C. No point in trading him right now.
  13. Which outfield defense is worse today, Twins or Brewers? Both are horribad.
  14. Screw you Ken. Escobar doesn't need a day off every freakin' week.
  15. And 5 of those walks came in his last inning of work in his first two starts when he was quite obviously (to everyone except Macha) tired from not being stretched out.
  16. That's not at all what I heard. He likes the fact that they have to Liriano out after 5 innings. Nothing to do with Jim Thome / Nick PuntoBut after the wild pitch he also suggested intentionally walking Punto with a 1-2 count. I'm sorry, but the guy's an idiot.
  17. Did Bill seriously just say he likes walking Nick Punto so they can pitch to Jim Thome?
  18. 1. Even with all of their injuries, the Warriors had a slightly above average offense last year and were a top 10 offense the year before that. Curry, Ellis and Morrow were all scoring options for them as well as Maggette. 2. About Maggette being an inefficient scorer. He's 45th in NBA history in TS% ahead of guys like Dirk Nowitzki, Chauncey Billups, Chris Paul, Pau Gasol, Carlos Boozer, Ray Allen, Kevin Durant, Danny Granger, Moses Malone, Michael Jordan, Dwyane Wade, Oscar Robertson, George Gervin, LeBron James, Deron Williams and James Worthy.
  19. Just money and a traded player exception. Miami wants as much cap space as possible so they don't want the cap hold of the pick or Cook's salary. So we use the TPE from the Elson trade to absorb Cook's salary while buying their pick for $3 million. Clears over $2.5 million for them.
  20. If Ghana beats Germany and Australia beats Serbia. Ghana and Australia would advance and the US would play Australia. If Ghana and Germany tie and Australia beats Serbia, Ghana and Germany or Australia would advance. Most likely Germany because Australia would have to outscore them by 6 or more goals of if Australia wins by 7 goals but score at most 3 goals more than Germany. In that case we would likely play Germany but could also play Australia. If Germany beats Ghana and Australia beats Serbia, Germany and either Ghana or Australia would advance. Ghana would advance if the combined margin of victory is 4 goals or less or if it's 5 goals and Ghana scores at least as many goals as Australia in which case it would basically be a toss up. Otherwise Australia would advance. In this scenario the US would face whoever advances between Ghana and Australia. If Australia and Serbia tie and Ghana beats Germany. Ghana and Serbia would advance with the US playing Serbia. If Australia and Serbia tie and Ghana and Germany tie. Ghana and Germany would advance with the US playing Germany. If Australia and Serbia tie and Germany beats Ghana. Germany and either Serbia or Ghana would advance. In this case Ghana would only advance if they lose by 1 goal and Serbia score at least 1 more goal than Ghana. The US would play either Serbia or Ghana. If Serbia beats Australia and Ghana beats Germany. Ghana and Serbia would advance with the US playing Serbia. If Serbia beats Australia and Ghana and Germany tie. Serbia and Ghana would advance with the US playing Ghana. If Serbia beats Australia and Germany beats Ghana. Germany would win the group if Serbia wins their game by at most 2 goals more than Germany or if Serbia score at most 2 goals more than Germany. Otherwise Serbia wins the group. So most likely Germany would win the group and the US would play Serbia. Confused yet? Because I am.
  21. It's in the total rumor stage. Yahoo is saying the Heat are willing to trade their pick for more cap space. The Bucks could use the Francisco Elson TPE to absorb the contract of Daequan Cook and then in a seperate deal trade $3 million for the 18th pick. So in essence it would be Cook/18th for TPE/$3 million. That would save the Heat $2,599,620 instantly.
