  1. Horford, Zaza, Smith, Joe Smith, even Marvin Williams is 6'9 240. And the Hawks are much more athletic and just flat out better than the Celtics front line.
  2. Ha. When they showed the replay of Byrd's HR I saw Suppan turn around and immediately thought "neck strain." http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  3. The Cubs scored 18 runs in their first six games. In this series so far, they have scored 18 runs.
  4. If the same strike zone keeps up, too many times to count.
  5. Fielder has been swinging at junk all year. Really annoying.
  6. Small strike zone today. That bodes well for Suppan.
  7. Finally a break for Edmonds. He's had a ton of hard hit balls right at fielders.
  8. That was clearly a slider Bill. Not everything that isn't a fastball is a cutter, even though you want it to be.
  9. Gameday has the wind blowing at 19 mph from the WSW.
  10. Didn't see it, but looking at the video, I wish I would have.
  11. He was coming off an .821 OPS as a 26 year old. As a 32 year old with one year before free agency Edgar Renteria posted an .860 OPS and got the Braves Jair Jurrjens. Sure, he may only have been offered a relief pitcher, but I find that unlikely. And didn't Melvin say he was offered a "#5 starter"? I'd love to see who that starter was and if he had any upside.
  12. No. It's more like if a player isn't part of your core going forward, you should trade him while he still has value. And before anyone says if Hardy wouldn't have been bad last season, we could've gotten value, I disagree. If he didn't suck last season, he wouldn't have gone to the minors and would've had only one year before free agency.
  13. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/90907539.html Really dumb schedule. They could have completely avoided re-scheduling any games and instead they put the first home game on Saturday at the same time the Iron were supposed to play.
  14. Every team last year got at least two playoff games on ESPN, ABC or TNT. We're going to get exposure. And with the way the Bucks play on national TV, you almost hope they only put the games on local TV. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. I don't think they have a chance to win a series against either Boston or Atlanta without Bogut, so I was rooting for Atlanta just because of my pure hatred of the Celtics and not wanting to watch us get knocked out of the playoffs by them.
  16. I think Taylor Green's wrist might have bothered him a little last year. Two run double. 2-0 Stars after Cain singled, Lawrie walked and Lucroy singled.
