  1. Really need people to stop thinking Misi is anywhere near ready for the big leagues. Dump Thomas, sure.
  2. He only made 12 starts in 2023 because of a rotator cuff strain and missed time last year because of a flexor strain and is on the IL again because of a flexor strain so he's missed time now in three straight years because of shoulder and elbow injuries. That's the definition of injury prone.
  3. We knew Gasser and Woodruff would be out to start the year. Myers is on the IL. Ashby and Hall are more relievers than starters. In short, no we do not have the best rotation in the Central.
  4. Yes, you may be loaded if you think we are full of talent.
  5. This was needed. Mark needs this **** to happen. Can’t expect your front office to pull rabbits out of their asses year after year
  6. First pitcher to get their ERA under 10 gets a $1 million bonus and an all expenses paid trip to Bora Bora.
  7. I mean, our payrolls haven't come close to keeping up with even the slightly below average payrolls anymore and his sons are involved and would like to take over when he steps aside.
  8. Actually got the ball in the air that inning. Unfortunately two of the balls in the air didn't even travel 100 feet. Which brings us back to the drafting and filling a lineup generally full of punch and Judy hitters.
  9. It was 80 there yesterday. You guys complaining about the bats need to get over it. Every team can use the bats the Yankees are using.
  10. I wonder if Yankee fans are complaining about our 320 foot homer just now.
  11. Doesn't sound all that different from what Mark has done and wants to do in the future.
  12. Maybe we'll hit a ball in the air sometime.
  13. I'll give you Myers and maybe Hall (though he's probably a reliever.) Everyone else we knew was going to be out at the start of the season at least.
  14. You know, we could hit homers too but we drafted and filled our lineup with a bunch of punch and judy hitters who hit the ball on the ground.
  15. It's the economics of baseball's fault that we're making bad decisions and trades.
  16. We've allowed two less walks than homers.
  17. Optimistic to think Mis would only walk 5 per 9.
  18. I would like it to be more fair. That doesn't excuse our front office trading our good players for crap.
  19. We can't even slide without hurting ourselves.
  20. We didn't trade two of those players, we traded for one of those players and made a bad trade with one of those players, just like we did with Williams. Again, nobody forced us to trade Williams and nobody forced us to trade him for what we got.
  21. Nobody made us trade Williams for Cortes.
  22. Yankees just letting us back in this one to get our hopes up only for Cortes to give up a few more homers in the bottom half.
  23. Could've been more if the first 3 hitters didn't crush the first pitch they saw to different continents. Jerks.
