    He's walking a little over 3.5 per 9. Just barely above the MLB average. I don't know why that concerns you. I don't know why his strikeout numbers concern you either. I could understand it if he was a flyball pitcher, but he's getting 2.5 groundballs for every flyball.

    That's what I don't get. I could understand not playing him if we were getting at least average production from third base, but Counsell and Hall are terrible. Yeah, maybe Gamel will be terrible too but what do we lose if he is? Nothing. Now if he plays well, we gain a lot.

    Cubs are about to blow the game. Just tied it at 3 and the Reds have 2nd and 3rd with one out.

    This offense is pathetically bad. Not only do they not have a baserunner this whole game, but Young has something like 71 pitches through 7.

    Riske is getting hammered. Grooving 88 mph fastballs to major league hitters when you know there's nothing else coming probably isn't the best plan.

    Well Parra gave up a double to the pitcher with one out. Then Hardy made an error, the Padres loaded the bases and Parra got a double play ball that Hall completely missed that would've gotten us out of the inning.
