Yeah, I question what the parents are thinking letting their two year old not only staying up that late but being outside. I was like 13 years old before I even got to stay up until 11 at night.
From my personal experience in cross country (which is none) I would tell them when the race starts, run really fast, but not too fast that you get tired before the race is over, but fast enough where they keep the lead.
The best part is we could all say we didn't know that you shouldn't do that since it's been so long since we last made the World Series and the last time we did all the fans stormed the field. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
You can't just say Suppan is a better option than McClung though. You would have to factor in salary. So next year is Suppan at $12.5 million better than McClung at $2 million and whatever we get with the extra $10 million? Hard to say, but my guess would be no.
Peter: By the way Lois, I got a piercing over there. I'm not going to tell you where but I will give you a hint--it wasn't on my nose or my ear and it was one of my balls.
Yes, it's a spin-off thread. Lois walks down to the basement and notices a bully tied up with Stewie right by him. Stewie: We're playing house. Lois: That boy is all tied up. Stewie: Roman Polanski's house.
My vent is about Buster Olney. He was talking about Sabathia a couple of days ago and how he "single handedly revitalized the city of Milwaukee and made them a baseball town." Something like that. Then he went on to say how Milwaukee was drawing "14,000 on Monday's but with Sabathia over 41,000 showed up." Ignorance is bliss I guess.
Not that I'm a Nix fan or anything but who would you rather have bat in that situation? Counsell vs a lefty isn't a good option, Nix vs a lefty isn't a good option, Kendall is the catcher and Ned never uses the backup catcher to pinch hit unless he has to and Kendall's not a good hitter either. Braun was on the bench but probably not available.
As far as I can tell he is 1-4 vs Zambrano with 1 ND (the Brewers were one hit in one of those games) and 2-0 against Wood and Prior with 2 ND. This was pre-injury while they were still stud starters. Edit: I'm not sure how those numbers prove Sheets isn't a "big game pitcher" or "not an ace" since three of those losses came when we were terrible and his win came in the middle of a pennant race at Wrigley last year.
Wow, there's no way he got hit and to say that hit his jersey when it was at his thigh is a horrendous call. Prince, you are a slob and a sieve defensively.
This is the worst umpire I've ever seen. Bill: You have to make sure Gagne is going to stay in the ballgame. I'm not so sure about that. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
