There's no skill in figuring out if a guy is bluffing. It's just a guess based on your hand, how many chips you have, how many chips are in the pot and how many players are commited to play the hand.
  2. Unfortunately for him they judge more on how you play basketball than how you measure in strength and athleticism. And James doesn't play basketball very well. I'm sorry I couldn't resist.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  3. Luckily for him he was dominating playing basketball and that's what he's being drafted for, not weight lifting skills.
  4. I agree Tuesday. Kruk is making a big deal out of nothing here. It's a rivalry game, he was excited, he didn't show up the other team it was really stupid to even bring it up. Zambrano does crap that's 50x worse when he's pitching but you never hear the bozos at ESPN say anything about that.

http://www.lasvegasvegas.com/pokerblog/images/091705-1.jpg Does that look like something you would wear while playing sports? http://www.playersedge.com/images/doyle_brunson.jpg Do you really think Doyle Brunson would be able to compete with the younger guys if this was actually a sport?
  6. Yes exactly right. When you hit the two that Braun hit (the "no doubters") I have absolutely no problem with anybody watching it. Soriano did the same thing yesterday when he hit the homerun, he watched it and flipped his bat.
  7. I love it. When I play baseball with friends or in a softball game or something and if I get a hold of one I watch it, not long enough to show up a pitcher but I look to see the pitchers reaction, the outfielders reaction etc.

No it's not a sport. The most movement you do is pick up chips and bet anybody can do it.

  10. Ned Yost: Turning outs into hits/runs.
  11. Try to get a tryout at 2nd base with the Brewers. It will only be for a few weeks until Weeks comes back but a little experience never hurt.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. Wow I have so many jokes for this one but I shall bite my tongue (pun intended) so I don't get in trouble.
  13. They had a timer on Sportscenter last night. The amount of time it took for the ball to leave the pitcher for Tennessee's hand and reach homeplate was .42 seconds.
  14. Ah yes I knew I was forgetting one, this is it. By the time the weak ass ground ball gets to the fielder the batter is about 5 feet from 1st base.
  15. You obviously weren't around for the second series of the year.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  16. Ah yes thought of another one. FSN yesterday and their constant showing of Lou Piniella's ugly puss. I really don't care about Piniella so showing him to me every 2 minutes got annoying after the first 2 minutes.
  17. Looking at the splits against Vargas and how lucky he's been this season this game is not looking good. I hope Villanueva is ready tomorrow.
  18. No he's right rluz. Because with Wendy we knew we were going to suck.
  19. The only thing I'm annoyed by is the team yelling from the dugout trying to rally a player on. It seems sort of distracting.
  20. Good stuff. They're Cubs fans but some of the stuff they say is pretty funny.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  21. Yost for continuing to bat Estrada 5th with his sub .300 OBP and whoever let Bush swing away with the bases loaded and nobody out.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/devil.gif
  22. Didn't really pay attention to Prince but Estrada is just slow. I knew once Prince was out at second it was a double play.
  23. Anybody still want Estrada in the 5 hole?
  24. Maurice Acker is the guy you're thinking of. I know nothing about him though.
  25. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif He didn't sit them down in order with the double in there.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif It's okay though, he didn't give up any runs so I'm fine with it.
